I have a similar trail cam series like that where the deer looked up at a bright diamond and did not spook but they did react to it . Miles from civilization in Southern Utah .

You never saw LiDAR before , because up until very recently it was used mainly over the oceans , welcome to the new norm , they are mapping with laser is all . not much of a conspiracy , LiDAR is not the DEW weapon , that is a very different kind of laser.

I just came to comment the title and the thumbnail. The thumbnail clearly shows that the light density is greater nearer to the ground... IOW it was a light shining up form the ground. And the title... No clue why you decided to call this an "alien beam of light" as apposed to "beam of light".
