  • Back in 2020 during the first lockdown, photography helped keep me sane One of the rolls I shot was a roll of Lomography Lady Grey 400 (Fomapan 400) in 35 mm format in my Nikon F3.

I looove most of these photos. Especially the last two! Great compositions. And this film’s tonality is good as well.

I feel another important thing to mention about Fomapan 400 that a lot of poeple don't know is that even on the datasheet none of the charts show it as a 400 ISO film. Using standard developers you are really getting 250 ISO at most. Maaaayyyyyybeeee 320 ISO. That being said, lovely classic looking film stock.

That, along with the reciprocity, are things I want to mention when I eventually do a full review! I've been comparing the stuff in different developers to get a feel of the negative density.

1:38 that's strange. i never experienced a lack of anti-halation layer on Foma films (shoot it last time about 5 yers ago). they are all just regular old fashioned BW films.
i dropped Foma films years ago when have faced several rolls with defective emulsion in a row. some with holes and some cracked.
(but Foma paper are just perfect. maybe the best paper on a market)
