  • Always Board Never Boring was previously gifted unofficial LEGO-style minifigs for Space Marines and Imperial Guards, so he thought he would also pick up some unofficial Death Korps of Krieg inspired minifigures to round out his collection. In this video he assembles the minifigures and shares his thoughts on them.
These unofficial minifigs can often be found on Temu, Aliexpress, Etsy, Wish, and even eBay, but they often don't hang around for long.
If you want to see his previous minifig reviews, they are here:

We have the Primaris marines and the Death Korp of Krieg squads and we love them! The commissar is absolutely awesome!

I live in Thailand and these are more freely available - only problem with this range is lack of enemies

Reminds me I have to finish my kill team. After my blitz bowl dwarves...and my gallowdark terrain.

Hehe, I'd like to see a Space Crusade play through with these (totally not lego) figures. 😂

One day it would be great to have a full LEGO Space Crusade, with a board made entirely out of blocks as well.

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring Oh! Maybe you can contract your son to build a Space Crusade board for you out of Lego's?

That's not a bad shout. He's always building little "games" for me.

Ha. I don't think there are any more of these unofficial minifigs at the moment, so hopefully I can go cold turkey now.

Well,if you're giving up on GW for whatever reason, these would be a good way to get your fix and not give them money. Which is probably why they're going so fast. Gotta build those armies.

I think there's a really big market for 40K construction toys. Maybe as you've said before, they should talk to Mega Bloks.
I'm not sure I will ever truly give up on GW - I will always collect the vintage stuff, and check out their new board games - but the recent Darktide board game being £65 made it a very easy pass, and it did reinforce that I'm just not prepared to put much of my money their way right now.

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring I don't know about a "big" market. I mean, everyone and their brother has built Warhammer stuff out of Lego. Terrain, vehicles, even minifigs. With 3D printing, you can make your own. Still, with Mega Bloks stuck with Pokemon and Halo, they might be game. If GW was. Which I doubt.
Well,it's obvious these days, most companies aren't really looking to make money. Seem more interested in just shitting all over everything. It's why I say get into 3D printing and make your own stuff.

A damn sight cheaper than anything GW produces, and pre-painted, too! Have you seen the excellent Napoleonic and Medieval ranges being produced? (I have a stupid number of Nappy minifigs...)

Hey, have you seen the trailer/kickstarter for ‘Horror on the Orient Express’? If so would be interested to hear your thoughts! Looks to be quite the game!

It looks really interesting, and it's a very neat idea that instantly caught my attention. It has a good table presence, but it's hard to say if the game design justifies all that bling at the moment. They may be dramatically increasing the price of the product a bit unnecessarily. The team have put out some good games previously, though, and they do like their games to have the wow factor.
