I had to cuss one away two weeks ago, had the nerve to send me DMs between him n his baby mamma... Whom I left coz he made her pregnant while with me. Sent me their breakup foolishness apparently to prove to me that he regrets what he did and is done with her.... Ooooh he got the wrath of man from me! I was like in what universe did you ever think I would fall for this foolishness, you disrespecting your baby momma like that. Go do that with some cheap hussy .... Boy how was ever even with you in the first place????

As a women I have this attachment style. My Ex kept saying he wanted intimacy but never made me feel safe, cherished or loved and this made it harder for me to open up. He would complain that I didn't want to communicate with him but he would talk about a whole lot of NOTHING. No conversations about our future, any goals, or doing life together but he sure wanted to have a lot of sex.

This was definitely enlightening!!! I just dealt with a guy with all 7 signs. I finally walked away after 10 months of that mess. I’m glad it was only 10 months vs 10 yrs .. as women we can’t play the victim, we must take self accountability for us accepting bread crumbs. Ladies go love yourselves and heal so when you date, you won’t ignore your intuition. Solitude taught me so much about myself, I found god and myself during isolation. I healed my abandonment, insecurities and low self esteem issues and begin to love me more. If it don’t feel like the love I have for myself and god’s love I don’t want it period. This message here is why i stopped engaging in it without a solid commitment. Casual relations are empty and not at all fulfilling. One or the other person is always going to desire more than whats offered and will eventually walk away. I walked nearly 5 yrs ago and i'm so grateful to God for it.
This is so true!! I spent 14 years this way and finally ended it. It does hurt but when I see how long I stayed and wasted....terrible.

I have been listening to you for a few months, usually around bedtime too but it hits so much differently now.
My father was a great man. He was very intelligent, kind, funny, loved god, loved nature, helpful, faithful to my mom, and just an all around wonderful person. He taught me so many useful lessons and was always present but didn't really get into how men can actually be, or things to look out for. I turned 30 this year and am now living on my own, things are very different when you leave home for good. I started to watch your channel when I was seeing an avoidant man (now i see what was going on) and I have kept listening to you messages since.

3 years is too long. Yes, a man may be avoidant & broken but a woman shouldn't hang on for years & think sex will change him. You have to leave. Don't enable the bad behavior and I know abstinence is hard, nevertheless obey the word. It's the only way.
I am with you on this. My ex and I were going on 4 years. He broke up with me over an argument on a work trip and I packed my bags and moved out. RC Blakes set my soul free. Facts you provided, very much appreciated since I was not aware of the term. I was dealing briefly with a man that was always busy with his job. I wasn't sure if he kept busy to take his mind off of being a widower? This gentleman pursued me first, but after 2-3 weeks of building chemistry, communicating & connecting with daily q&a, inspirational messages & shared pictures he went MIA after I suggested moving convo via phone or video. I didn't want to be a lady talking to a man for months via text. It's very hard to give this professed man of faith some grace when the world suggests he's ghosting, breadcrumbing and/or benching. Thank you Pastor for encouragement & empowering guidance to match his communication efforts or fall back even further.

Narcissistic ones will give you the title, they will move you in, they will ask you deep probing questions and be vulnerable. Even at times saying sorry unlike some say, they do and can. But most the foundations will be missing if you pay attention or unless you don't like emotional closeness either, you'll feel it. He moved her in but flew to my house to see me and the year before flew out to his ex before and come to find out during me. She also overlapped. He always said the woman had to have a "what are we?" Moment. He likes to control and gain access to others but he uses his vulnerability strategically. A lot initially and dribs and drabs later. The one he moved in he could, according to him shutdown conversation, not go deep, leave all hours without confrontation or question and could do financial things to please. I wouldn't want that but I was hurt he did that on top of cheating. He said, "you would live with roommates when you have a big house by yourself?" I said I would live in a shoe box with you but of course we could help each other. He said "you're too big for my life" and "other women are easier, you're like a complex toy that requires a lot of effort and time, not something I can just carry in my pocket." You figure it out. He couldn't stroke my ego while dogging me out. But I do think he is with who he's suited to.

I dated someone that hit all the signs and when you described them here it’s given me clarity. I couldn’t identify the cause for nitpicking and blowing out of proportion when I did nothing wrong in the relationship, I kept blaming myself and thought it’s got to do with my faults / flaws when it’s coming from an avoidant person managing their emotions in an unhealthy manner. I loved the point about overly working, to occupy his time in work / hobbies / friends, I didn’t understand it at first but now given the facts it made more sense, when my former prioritizes work / his personal time alone (independence) / time with friends over making quality time with me. Ladies don't let a man use trauma as an excuse to let things slow down.
I had a man that i dated for two years that wanted to marry me and talked about how he would propose to me. But! he couldn't plan a future and prepare with me what we would do to get ready for marriage. He could only think in detail about his sister (lived with her in a house they bought together) and what he would do/ planned for her and see her once a week after if we got married. When I would ask us to plan what our future looked like, he would say "i don't know". Even when i followed with specifics such as to show finances and how we could work as a team, he kept pushing the conversation saying "he wasn't ready to discuss" ( a year and a half into the relationship). He said "just focus on yourself for two years and i'll focus on my sister and hope she may be ok". He used trauma as a barrier to not progress forward after 1.5 years of it happening. The trauma was a family member passing away.
I am guilty of some of these signs (2,3,4,5)and I am a woman! The only difference is, i make it known from the jump. I never lead anyone on. I guess we can't always point the finger at the men😕
