  • Hey everyone, thanks so much for watching hope you enjoy my video. I just touch on some topics that were top of mind at the moment. I have to address the comments. I have gotten any people who have a negative view of SERBIA. ITS SO NICE HERE! This Country certainly has its hardships, and negatives, but every country does. Do NOT believe all of the PROPOGANDA! This country really focuses of family, leisure time, quality of life etc. Like I said there are good sides and bad sides to everything, but its truly a wonderful place.

When you see fat stomach ppl here in Serbia its usualy because they drink beer every day and eating fats, but many are physically active so they overcome it, but yeah we also have high cardiovascular disease problems ppl, but its mainly urban area life i guess...but right now we have the biggest enemy in our entire history and its name is Rio Tinto, Dundee, Zee Yin...about those healthy looking serbians we have to thank to "kašika" and that means stews, soups, chorbas, and physical activities and psychological health by active outdoor socializing with family, friends, neighbors...we have alots of food/drink/music/traditional and other family-friendly festivals, traditional fairs, a lots of vacation (like gorge river rafting, spring mountain hiking, snow-mountain skiing winter vacations, summer sea vacation, river/lake camping-boating and others) that what's keep us normal i guess in life, that's how we survived: wars, economy crisis, sanctions, bombing, transition, epidemics, just hope we survive this occupation and poison-lythium mining attempt...

I really wish Westerners who move to Eastern/Southern Europe tried living on the local average wages then give a review. It's all fun and games while you are just functionally a tourist.

And they are tourists, so... And why would they live on local wages? There are some foreigners who live here (digital nomads) and they make whatever they make, certainly more than locals do... So, chill, and let people enjoy themselves.

There is no wining nation in a world as Serbs are. Usually those that have no idea what they are talking about. Being for centuries a colony that paid taxes to Vienna or Istanbul instead of having a continent as a colony like for example Spain. And then forklift guy or taxi driver having in some cases same wage in Spain and in Serbia.

01:26 ŠUMA-DIJA. It means FOREST LANDS. ŠUMA=FOREST. Name of that region on english is FOREST-LANDS.
Serbia consist of couple GEOGRAPHICAL regions. Borders between political-administrative regions are little bit diferent.
    1. ŠUMADIJA=FOREST LANDS. The bigest by area and third the bigest by population. After VOJVODINA and BELGRADE region.
Capital is city of KRAGUJEVAC = CITY OF FORGHOTHEN FOREST.
    2. KOSOVO and METOCHIA = LAND OF BLACK BIRDS and THE CURCH LANDS. Around 1.1 milion of people. Capital is Priština. Region very important for serbian history. Serbian state was funded
there. Former caital of serbian big emipre, Prizren, is second largest town in Kosovo.
    3. VOJVODINA = DUKES LANDS. The most northern region. Northern of Belgrade, northern of Danube and Sava river. Around 2.1 milion of people.
Capital is city of NOVI SAD=NEW GARDEN(from latin and russian) but can be and NEW UNITED STATES in translation from english.
    4. ISTOČNA i JUŽNA SRBIJA = EASTERN and SOUTHERN SERBIA. The most southern region and the poorest region, economicaly. Capital is city of NIš. Former NAISSUS.

For me personally Kragujevac is not in top 5 in Serbia from places I've visited.
    1) Niš
    2) Novi Sad
    3) Beograd
    4) Kruševac
    5) Subotica
    6) then maybe Kragujevac, but I also haven't been to some other towns like Leskovac, or Zaječar.
Also for tourists and for those with adventureous spirit I would recommend Soko Banja. First the place of it's own is very nice and interesting. But then you have nature to discover around. It is super interesting. You should ask your husband to go there when you catch more free time. 🙂

Kragujevac is 5th the bigest city in Serbia.
    1. Belgrade 1 680 000 Mix of everything: Moscow, Vienna, Paris, Berlin(maybe the most simmilar, Berlin without migrants) some parts of Italy. But communism is stil dominant + bunch bunch of
glass buildings(especially in newer part of the city, across Danube and Sada rivers) and smaller skycrapers.
    2. Priština 500 000 Is mutch more oriental, like Istanbul combined with communism.
    3. Novi Sad 365 000 Is different then rest of Serbia, mutch more like Austria, Vienna,... Serbia northern of Belgrade is different and looks mutch more like Austria or Hungary.
    4. Niš 270 000 Simmilar as Kragujevac but litlle bit more oriental. Southern Serbia little bit looks like Bulgaria, Turkey but the most of oriental buildings was destroyed during wars.
U will find mutch mutch more oriental architecture in Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia,...
    5. Kragujevac180 000 Urban area. With suburbs 200 000+. The most serbian city in Serbia. Serbia combined with Austria and communism + little bit of Turkey.

Kragujevac has much less people ,last year it was 171k but most dont live actually here ,from my high school class only 4 left in Kragujevac but they still have there ID like they live here but in reality then only come 1-2 times a year.I dont blame them becase town is in state off decay for at least 30 years ,slowly but surely .Also Pristina has like 200k people

Honesty Serbia is great, Vojvodina is even better, the north is the best. Serbs are great, and amazing, but the closer you get to Belgrade the worse it will get. People around Belgrade and in Belgrade are uneducated, rude, extremely negative, disrespectful, VERY frustrated, sad, angry, irritated, they don't respect your personal space. The city is dirty, there is garbage everywhere, the streets are filled with pot holes and patched asphalt, there is no sidewalk, cables are everywhere, facades are falling apart. Literally be careful a brick could hit you, there is poop everywhere, so make sure you don't step in the poop. The whole atmosphere is really tragic and bad, and there is no green, no parks, every free square meter is turned into a building. There is no parking, cars are parked everywhere on the already non-existent sidewalks. Also be careful when driving or crossing the road, people do not know how to drive, they could hit you even if you crossing the street. If you are driving, there are high chances they might get out of their car and start hitting yours. Also before the green light is EVEN on, they will honk like neanderthals and god forbid you need 2 seconds longer to park, I promise you, you will witness a shiiiiiietstorm. Overall, yeah, its also super expensive, and the quality of service is not that great, specially when compared to what other cities have to offer.
Nevertheless, rest of Serbia is totally amazing and great! I've been living here for quite some time and I love it! :)

Belgrade is a cool city and 99% of YT videos on Belgrade are positive. Not sure why all this slander. Belgrade has its own thing and its own vibe. I mean, I have seen graffiti in Lisbon, graffiti and trash in Rome... That doesn't mean Lisbon and Rome shouldn't be visited. Most tourists visit the central area of Belgrade such as the Republic Square, the main walking street, Kalemegdanm Skadarlia... and these areas are generally nice and pleasant, some go to the Belgrade Waterfront which is the newest part of Belgrade, or Zemun to see the Gardosh Tower, eat by the river, or walk and feed swans... they say it's nice. The nightlife is amazing. Your observations might be accurate for some parts of the city, like the suburbs, but generally Belgrade is not bad at all. You obviously didn't have local friends or you missed the vibe. I encourage everyone to visit Belgrade. If you are gonna see only the bad things, then that's all you will see. I am sure your city has plenty of bad stuff. But, if you focus on the good and the positive, then the good and the positive will come to you.
