If you remember when Arthur and John were on the mountain and he handed John his hat, he also undid his satchel and handed him that too. I imagine that’s how the game gave you his journal and stash of items.

The original actor for Uncle from rdr1 died, so when Uncle sings his songs in rdr2, that’s actually the original actor. Remember the lake near Hamish’s cabin? That was named after him
I think it’s really cool how John remakes the rdr1 cover when he kills the Laramie gang leader. One thing that would be better though is if Rockstar allowed us to have John’s classic hair in the Epilogue instead of a copy and paste of Arthur’s
Are we not able to just go to the barber in the epilogue?
@@bitch8205You can go to the barber, but John’s hair in the epilogue is just Arthurs with a different colour. Not like how it is in chapter 1-6.
John’s face in general was changed to look more like Arthur, the vanilla patch he looked different
Arthur gave John is satchel full of his things when he also gave him his hat
I did find the ending of the game sad to the point I shed some tears, but if I’m being honest I bawled my eyes out during the part John Uncle and Charles build beechers hope. I never really understood what “home is where the heart is” meant until watching them build the house log by log, nail by nail and at the end uncle goes “you have a home now John” and John says “and you do too.”. It was always natural for me to think that to be happy you need a lot of things, but this showed me all I really need to be happy is to build something I can be proud of, and share it with people I care about. This game has so many lessons of life to share beyond its gunslinger experience. Will probably always be a top 3 game of all time for me
I love how the epilogue slows things down at first. After going through all that chaos at the end of Arthur’s journey and seeing him die we definitely needed a nice slow change of pace to calm us down

Another thing here, Gavin's friend actually is Gavin. The man has a Dissociative Personality Disorder and Gavin is his other personality. If you loot him, you can find a letter from his parents suggesting he is mentally sick. He lost his friend as Gavin's personality didn't come back to him. He thinks its two different men when in reality its one and the same. Kinda make me sad for him the poor guy.

When you mentioned Red Dead Revolver, that got me excited honestly 😅 I think it could be a game for the channel is you’re down for it. The protagonist is my favourite from any Rockstar game. The gameplay is really old, but that doesn’t take away how good the game is
I also like to imagine the events of revolver do happen in red dead redemption’s universe, but what we play in revolver is the exaggerated tale of what really went down

Also I don’t know if you noticed but there was a bird watching you build the house and supposedly it’s supposed to be Arthur watching over John or at least that’s what I heard.

Its kind of an easter egg. If you look at Hamish's life, an old warrior who fought countless times and still survived, now retired and doesn't have much of a family life. Passes his time by hunting animals for fun and gets killed by boar, gutted. Reminds you of someone? Listen to the violin playing at Hamish's death scene and its kinda similar to Game of Thrones theme. He represents the story of Robert Baratheon.
In the next episode you should visit arthurs grave, you could look up where it is. And all the other members that died if you want.
Make sure to study everything…a lot of the birds are not easy to find, gotta bust out the binoculars whole slowly entering towns, on rock tops, cliffs….woodpeckers in the forest are tough

You're the first person I've seen that noticed the "throwing fights" thing. I always thought that was weird. Charles says he's BEEN throwing fights meaning he's been losing. But the announcer says he's undefeated. Always thought that was weird.

Just wanted to point out that Uncle's Lumbago sounds ridiculous, but it really isn't
Lumbago is basically severe pain centered around the lower back. It's usually caused by poor posture, strained ligaments or muscles, lifting things the wrong way, or an issue with spinal disks or arthritis
I'm only 26, but I've got the same issue.
When the pain kicks in, it's just horrible. Like your spine is forcing you to bend over while simultaneously flexing tightly, trying to pull you back into a straight posture, but your back just won't allow it. It gets really difficult to move around, and when it's really bad, you can't even sit up in bed. When that happened to me, I had to essentially throw myself out of a lying down position just to get out of bed.
And Uncle is a hell of a lot older than me, and medical care back then wasn't nearly as good as it is now.
The only reason I could even go about my day was because I'm a redhead. Due to the chemical stuff that gives people their hair color, redheads get a few other benefits in that our bodies process pain differently compared to other hair colors.
My point is that those issues I described experiencing are likely far worse for non redheads.
And I confirm that Uncle really does have Lumbago. His posture is exactly like mine was before I recovered.
It's not that Abigail wants to change John. It's the fact that she wants him to change himself. Similar to what Mary wanted from Arthur.

2:03:19 If anyone is curious, if you look in the game files, there's actually a file named 'Gavin'. However, there's no character sprite in this file so there's no chance you can actually find him in the game because he doesn't have a model.
If you k*ll Gavin's friend, you can find a letter on his body that reads as follows:

Please play Half-Life in the future? it's VERY GOOD and another game by VALVe, which is actually the first game of VALVe ever. Half-Life 1 doesn't have the best graphic, but Half-Life 2 actually has the same graphic as portal, because Half-Life 2 is also made with the source engine. Please play it, you'll enjoy it.
