In this video myself and a couple of mates head for a night on Swineside Knott. I had already camped in this same spot before, so I knew where to park and the route up. The route is a nice gradual route up with stunning views of Ullswater. Once on top its nice and flat and fits a few tents. There is a water source roughly 500 yards away if you don’t want to carry any water up. For me this is one of the best views of Ullswater. We woke up to a sea of cloud over Ullswater and rain hitting the tent. I was gutted that I couldn’t get the drone out for sunrise. Just like that we must pack up and head back to the car. I hope you enjoyed this one and much as we did.

@@iamchriswhelan I sometimes think maybe I should have went with the 3. It doesn’t weigh that much more than my 2 and it’s got 2 doors instead of just the 1 on mine. Anyway it’s a great tent. The trailstar and inner you use looks an awesome setup what does it weigh including the inner?
@adventure_steve_hikes Yeh the Abisko is a sick tent man. I've got a Nallo 2 and there not much different in shape and size and that (hardly use it aswell haha) The trailstar and the lanshan inner and then a polycro sheet I've cut to the size of the lanshan inner weighs in at 1005g if you include the walking poles it's 1.3kg. Awesome tent if your looking to get one.
@@iamchriswhelan just picked up a lanshan 2 not long ago so will be using that for time being but always an option for future 👍
@adventure_steve_hikes Good lad. I've had a lanshan 1. I liked it but could just tell it was cheap with the materials. Also the trailstar is a beast in the wind. Keep your eyes on Facebook, can pick one up for like £150 easy.

Cheers Olan. I love the cumulus quilt. I feel like it's warmer than my Rab neutrino 800 bag haha. Coldest I've slept in it is -2 and was toasty. Highly rate the cumulus stuff 👌
@@iamchriswhelan Ahh its the quilt then, glad its working for you. I have the Cumulus Panyam 600 and the Xlite 300 bags that are customed and wider by an extra 10cm plus extra fill in the hood and feet and i love both of them the quality of the down and loft is better than the Rab bags and the fact that you can get them customed choosing fabrics and colours and top and bottom fill amounts at the price point of a standard Rab or ME really does it for me. Whats not to like 👌 Enjoy your next camp and thanks for sharing as usual 👍
