Two things: 1) Accurate. (My tiny human #2 does EXACTLY the same thing. And now that tiny human #2 is learning to talk, tiny human #2 will say "daddy mean" (because tiny human #2 doesn't get her way)) 2) This is what is referred to, in ECEd. as inconsistent parenting. What they learn from this is that if they beg/cry, then they will get what they wanted in the first place.
