What a horrible fate to be born into a family that grows richer as it expands, it's going to be terrible to have so many well-raised people in this world who consider you a tribe member as you progress from childhood to adulthood! If you pay attention, Blakely is turning out to be VERY well-adjusted, without the self-conscious anxiety some other public children have. Brier is just starting to understand, but she, too, already shows a VERY strong secure attachment orientation (see the "watch my baby for me videos), these parents are doing a very good job of capturing the benefits that public, professional parenting can offer their family, while avoiding common pitfalls. So many children in this world are not even a sliver of this lucky. How good of a parent might you become if, the better you were at it, the more financially and emotionally YOU were rewarded, as well? It's easy to criticize, but there is no such thing as the perfect child rearing situation, everything has its pros and cons and in the end, it's about what the people who live it bring to the situation that determines whether it is nurturing or toxic, not the situation, itself.
