I'm glad barry got the help he needed. And he and archer are starting to become friends. Honestly I always thought they'd make better friends than enemies.
Yeah me two. I hope through your every season Barry is always there for him. And they are best friends instead of always trying to kill watch on sight.
I like the little touch that instead of referring to his dark side as “Other Barry”, he just says “Easy Barry. Don’t go back down that dark, dark hole.” Definitely goes to show how Barry has genuinely worked on himself, trying to overcome his personal flaws, and accepted his identity as just one Barry. I love how Barry come to terms with who he is. He still has his quirks, and characteristics that makes him stand out as Barry. Him reassuring himself to calm down definitely shows how he still communicates with himself, but in a grown, considerably mellowed out way. Barry will always be Barry, and that’s ok. I honestly like Barry better as a good guy than as a bad guy. Barry is still obviously himself of course, but he’s genuinely took the time on thinking about where he went wrong, worked on how he could improve himself, looked back on mistakes, and motivated himself to become a better person.
I find it kinda sad that Barry of all people was actually nicer to archer than most of his colleagues and friends. (sure his mother visited but some of that was just her not wanting to feel guilty. Also it's kinda sad that Barry is the only person that actually asked how archer was doing since he got out of the hospital
Aw, I actually felt good seeing Archer getting excited by managing to do a round house kick again. And it's nice that at least Barry is back to a nicer version of who he probably was before Archer threw-I mean 'dropped' him off a roof
They didn't post in this clip but when Barry went to go visit Archer in the Hospital and started singing to him in Spanish I totally lost my shit 😂😂😂😂😂
I just like that archer is really turning everyone back into who they were before his comma. Cheryl is crazy, Pam is...Pam. And Cyril is about to be out of shape again. I’m just waiting for him to paralyze Ray and probably sleep with Lana again. Then it’ll all be complete
To be fair, Pam and Krieger never really changed, which is probably why they're the only ones who were really happy Archer came back. Cheryl was easy enough, she only changed until she noticed others contradicted themselves, then said fuck it. Not really sure about Ray because he hasn't been around much. Cyril is the most fun to watch break. Lana is definitely the shittiest at this point, and my hope is that Archer can knock some sense back into her after she basically pulled a Mallory and abandoned AJ in a private school, something she KNOWS Archer would have despised.
@@jish55 I don't think Lana knows much about Archer's experiences at school. I don't think anyone really knows much about that except maybe Mallory. Archer doesn't talk about it pretty much ever and the only time i can remember him doing so he lied about it to Len Trexlor and said he had a great time.
@@matthewpelletier6900 I'm pretty sure he actually has told Lana about what happened to him at school in certain episodes not the whole thing but moments.
And Archer shattered Barry's femur, left him for dead in a filthy dumpster for the russians to find, torture, and turn into a cyborg against his will... Oh and Archer also slept with his fiance and humiliated him on several occasions for no good reason. If anyone deserves to hold a grudge, it's Barry.
@keller blair But we can. The crew without Archer is literally prosperous and legitimately happy, but as shown with this season, Archer's toxic personality singlehandedly breaks the group. Look at Barry, look at Cyril, look at Lana, and look at literally everyone except for Pam.
@keller blair No, no. They're all shitty people, but you need to understand that Archer is the most toxic out of all of them. If you watch every episode of the new series, Archer's comeback triggers them all reverting to their old selves, other than Pam who was always the same. Lana will most likely bang Archer again too.
You know there's a Brian Hillebrand who was very involved in the wrestling business until his death some years back. Made me sad when I seen your name lol
Honestly, I think that Archer has gotten _so absurd_ that we will never truly be sure that Archer _isn't still in a coma._ Because _this entire season has coma nightmare written all over it!_ I mean...a factory that manufactures Barry's...and they're all wearing different costumes like Barry is a literal Ken-Doll. It's basically Archer's worst nightmare, except his subconscious is fusing the concept with a Toy-Line, effectively making Barry into an Action-Figure off an assembly line. But also the fact that Barry is the only one being nice to Archer and is genuinely trying to be his friend; meanwhile, everyone in Archer's peer-group was happy to move-on without him. It's Archer's subconscious warning him that after all the times that he's been a dick to these people, he's literally going to end-up alone; and Barry is going to be all that's left...
1:41 I can’t help but it feel archer is right to be paranoid, also archer your the reason Barry is a cyborg in the first place. But to also be care I’d be mad to if someone murdered my fiancé
How the heck is Barry, the guy who has hated Archer for years, killed then stolen his fiance, and has tried to kill Archer (and Bob) for years, being nicer then Archer's supposed friends?
Because Barry views Archer’s coma as a way of breaking even for all the horrible things Archer has done to him, and vice versa. It’s the ultimate “screw you” the world can give a guy like Archer, so Barry sees it as a fair compensation for his becoming a cyborg. Basically it’s Barry 3, Archer 3. Barry kidnapped Malory and held her hostage, killed and then later married Archers fiancé, and then Archer fell into a coma. Meanwhile Archer broke Barry’s hip, left him to die in Russia, and let him become a cyborg as a result.
0:12 see that shouldn't have been successful for archer but it was, cyril too. That's what makes the show funny. Sure have them lose a bit but not all the damn time like before
It's not the ideal final resolution I hoped for Barry in the final season, but it's still good enough, definetly better than kill him off again (he's MUCH funnier than people give him credit). I just wish Cyril had a more positive final resolution too. I pictured a scenario in which they have to get rid of a bunch of Archer clones created by Krieger, or more Biotich guys, this time made to look like him. Then, after being laughed at or pressured for way too long, Cyril snaps and begins to gruesomely murder all the Archer clones and achieves a life-fulfilling (almost orgasmic) sense of satisfaction from it.
I thought the creator & show runner Adam Reed changed his mind about ending it?! I'm playing catch up on all this, so are you talking about the season in this clip or the one that just ended?! I assume your not talking about the one that just ended based on when you left your comment...thanks bud!!
I never thought it was cute how Archer fucks with everyone and makes every situation his in worse. It's what kept me from watching it from the beginning. Also the humor is a little too circular sometimes.
I don't think it's supposed to be cute. It's like with Rick from Rick and Morty, or Bojack from, well, Bojack Horseman: You can laugh about the antics but you gotta realize the main character is one heck of an a**hole who only bring pains to the rest of the cast! In a way I find it very interesting to notice how they'd ALL be better off without him, and they were, and now that he's back they aren't anymore! That being said I do hope they get back to their good selves in the end: It is true that character regression ain't fun...
Is archer the problem? Because in the first episode the team was given a fake photo of the art theft and only archer was able to see through it. In the second episode, Conway Stern would have blown the operation once he saw any of them at the tournament. In episode three, Lena and Cyril probably would have gotten trapped in the vault or killed by Juno team. Without Archer Hands wouldn't bother to help them. In this episode, without Archer the operation would have been blown by one of the guards or Lena finds an excuse to kill Barry. To say Archer's at fault seems off to me.
