Thanks for bringing these episodes to CZcams. The only resource of Ellen DeGeneres doing a sitcom I could find is the 1994 show with the "coming out" episode.
This "Ellen" sitcom phase still did not top her original sitcom, "Ellen". THAT was here best work. Even the other actors in that show were GREAT! Not sure what happened to Ayre Gross as he was also very good. Maybe some kind of creative differences I suppose. Producers and show main stars will either show their true personalities as the show moves on in success or, they will be just as down to earth and benevolent as they appear. Too bad Ellen was not who we thought she was. Yes, she's done some good things but still, I'd bet those that have to work with her find it an uncomfortable experience. I've worked with asshole actors before and I've found that if I don't assert my own defiant personality, I'll be chewed up and left for garbage. Yeah, you can get fired for bucking against the "star" but still, it's the right decision. IF you're any good at your craft, there will always be work somewhere else.
Ellen and k d lang were two of the best things of that time. It was like a gay rainbow personality coming around every corner. I think that being gay was great back then, like in the late 70s before AIDS. Now it seems to more complex for many young people.

Gosh, the on track navigation system is basically on star. I don’t think even that exists anymore and it wasn’t even around that long.

Nice show!
Ellen is hilarious ❤
This house set would be reused for the sitcom According to Jim redressed after this was canceled.
😊😊❤❤👍👍😇
All I hear is Dory XD
IF Ellen is "acting" then she's ACTING.
YOU're not seeing the real Ellen.
