I love norm its weird to be able to people's veiws on god change throughout time the crucifix joke took me off guard and i really question why it was placed at the beginning of his 1st episode. The flip side to that is he seemed like he had made his peace with god before he left.i sure hope he did he left a hole in comedy.
@@Asukenick 05/27/24: True that, but she wasn't grifted into a "failing show"; she was in MB from the start. Later on, she would have single-handedly ruined Spin City, but greaseball Charlie Sheen beat her to the punch. Season 2 above: Hollywood's infallible instinct to ruin a salvageable show reigned supreme (even then, the Communist Woke poison was seeping into the system).
God this show is funny! Has a lot of typical sit-com trappings, yet Norm McDonald’s humor and unactorly deadpan delivery set it apart (though those will be love or hate). Ludicrously silly/funny premise, inappropriate, sardonic. Rife with sex jokes. And Laurie Metcalf is perfect. Most of the jokes still land. Surprising that this was deemed acceptable on regular network TV.
@@supremelvmusic And I wouldn’t put this show in the same group as Friends. Funny show yes but this sitcom was co-created BY a comedian and is based on the act of a very funny comedian. Don’t ask me which show js funny.
Remember this show growing up. Thank you for uploading these.
Thx!!! btw the theme song is from a popular Canadian band in the 80s called Doug & The Slugs.

I'm so glad I have the DVD of this.
@@Asukenick whered you get it
@@Leo-yn5fx I believe Amazon. But that was back in 2016.

Best sitcom ever genius
I really like this show. Too bad it only lasted 3 seasons.
They moved the show to Fridays and the ratings went down.
this is good, why was it not more popular?
It didn't help that the show moved to Fridays. Not enough people were watching.
05/27/24: Faith Ford (whenever she was grafted into a show, it folded overnight).
@@donreedNot true. She was on Murphy Brown and that was on for 10 years.

Now a Classic. One of the best sitcoms.

And on ABC of all places…owned by Disney.
How many ethical violations in one hour?! 😂

Friends was on for 5 years when this started.
Got it
Still better than friends though.

@@actownsend7288 I would go with Friends. Especially after losing Matthew Perry.
