    Jenny, just thought I would let you know that, for me, it always takes me a while to watch your videos, because I have to keep pausing and taking screenshots of all the gorgeous plants that you introduce us to! That way, I know which ones I want to put in my landscape!💜🩷💚

    Good morning! Love PW-we got a shipment of liners yesterday.
    Creekside needs an extractor for liners! From watching this video it would probably pay for itself in a year with saved labor costs. We have an extractor for 288 plugs for bedding plants in flats and an old Blackmore needle seeder. We enjoy watching y’all.
    I built my first greenhouse in 1987-before all the mechanization. At one time we had 28000 square feet under roof. I’m in my 60’s now and we have scaled back a lot. Have a great spring season!

      Nicole Pit from Flower Hill Farm had her handy husband (Brad Pit 😅 Truely) construct one adding screws that align with the tray cells to a piece of plywood so she can push the tray over the screws and everything pops out simultaneously.

    Love your videos. I just would like to ask that the picture of the plant or flower stay up longer as you describe it. It disappears as you are describing it and I have to go back and forth to see what you are describing. I write down the flowers I want to purchase while watching your video. Hope to get by the garden this summer.

  • @Edu_Kate
    @Edu_Kate Před 5 měsíci

    I might as well just order some of everything on your list (maybe not so much the yellows).
    As you were listing plants, I was mentally placing them around my yard and containers.
    Yes on 'Wicked Witch," 'Newly Noir," and all the beautiful blooming plants.
    Last year, in a garden I took back from the weeds, I noticed by end of season, the weeds were in a power struggle with me. So planting vigorous annuals works for now in suppressing nasty competitive weeds. Quack grass, the worst!
    I adore you are using herbs (basil) in the landscape. I tend to grow herbs more for their aesthetics than culinary purposes. Lemon verbena is my absolute favorite, but it's difficult to find. Probably because it's difficult to grow from seed, so I've read. Such an intense, yet lovely, lemon scent.

  • @Edu_Kate
    @Edu_Kate Před 5 měsíci

    One year, I planted ONE 'Wicked Witch' coleus beside door of my east-facing shed with 3 nemesia in a pale pink or white with a bright magenta annual (Penta perhaps?) in the middle row.
    I didn't know nemesia preferred cool temperatures. Mine thrived all summer long without any maintenance attention paid to them. I guess ignorance IS bliss. 😅
    I hope to find all those same plants this year to recreate the look.

  • @michaelmalone8742
    @michaelmalone8742 Před 5 měsíci

    Thanks for the coleus ideas, Jenny! I love Wicked Witch but have used it mostly in large mixed pots, not the landscape. It tends to wilt in the morning sun.🥴 Perks up in the afternoon when more shaded. NC Sandhills z8a. A bit frustrating. Maybe keep it smaller? More water? It even wilted in an Aquapot tho. Ideas? 🥰
