We need one on Micheal Redd
What about when he slept with the 2 timers wife???
Damn they forgot to include his Philly stint where he was about to turn up until the ACL ruined it for the rest of his career
Not me rushing to look for the steve nash wife timestamp. Guess i will just have to look at the phoenix an hope for the best.
J-Rich’s last dunk in the 2003 Dunk contest is one of the greatet dunks I’ve seen.
Agreed! I like His first round dunk in the 2004 contest even better. East bay off the backboard. I thought he’d have a 3-Peat.
He had the craziest bounce on the Warriors. Him & Desmond Mason were underrated dunkers
Respect! People don't remember D-Mase because he didn't become a superstar but he had bounce in Seattle!
Big bounce my G
Desmond Mason what a tb sonics player
Back in the day, I considered Jrich the second greatest dunker behind Vince. Shoutout J rich for sure. Legend.
Facts!!!!
Facts 💯
Zach and Green are better dunkers but J Rich is a legend for real.
@@TheLakers81 I was waiting for someone to comment these names.
The key words here is back in the day. Let me know how old Zach & I’m assuming you mean Gerald Green was in 2004.
& I’m STILL taking J rich over them both. Vince clears all though. Don’t let recency bias cloud your judgement.
Jason Richardson, Gerald Green, VC, Stromile Swift, Andre Iguodala, etc.
I used to always get J Rich on Nba Live 05. That dunk contest on there was crazy
Big facts
Big Shoutout to J-Rich! I wrote him one summer back when I was 9 years old and he replied with a letter that fall, it also had a invite to his Youth Camp, as well as an autographed picture... Much respect and appreciation for that love shown to a kid in Cleveland who loves basketball..! 💯🤝🫂
That's actually really awesome!!
Thank you Bro..! That Summer I wrote Him, Dirk Nowitzki and the Toronto Blue Jays organization after seeing their Team addresses in an World Almanac and said to myself why not try... All 3 periodically replied via letters in the mail and a kind gift.. Very grateful..🙏🙏@@justingrant4860
I can't help smiling every time Q-Rich starts talking about Nash. He really misses those days.
I thought this was going somewhere else lol
He might be smiling bc he knows the inside stuff ifykyk lol
I wonder if he misses something else 😬
@@mathy7280🤣🤣
@@mathy7280the only reason I clicked on this comment ‼️🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️💪🏽
jrich vs dmase was legendary
Hell yeah!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
8:12 I'm from Michigan and when they mentioned Anthony Roberson, my eyes lit up because I played this guy in AAU. This guy I SWEAR was Irving with the handles. Everyone called him Peeper back then. I remember playing I think it was in Grand Rapids against him in a tourney in 1998 and I got the chance to match up against him. Let's just say that was the hardest I'd ever had to play anyone as he gave me 37 points & 12 assists. I chipped in 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals but the way that man was talking to me throughout the game is what I remember because he told me what he was going to do as he dribbled up the court how he was going to score on me and actually did that bullsh*t! 🤣😂 I remember that Sag High/Authur Hill game. The dude who was recording through Access Vision local network was selling the tapes lol! True story!
I remember seeing him at ABCD Camp
Peeper was a beast, if only he could have played in today's league where he would have a green light as a point guard to shoot. He was Steph before Steph, he could shoot from anywhere. I've kicked it with dude irl, real stand up dude.
@@Dan-hz5tg yea his range was serious
If you a 90s kid and followed the league during the 00's you know J Rich was a bad man. He tends to be forgotten when talking about the best dunkers of all time, but this dude got the complete package, both in game dunks and putting on a show at the slam dunk contest. Salute to J-Rich
100%!!! If you were under the rim and he caught a pass coming towards the lane. You were getting dunked on! He reminds me of JB from the Celtics a little bit. The first step, shooting and explosiveness!
Anybody who a true baller or fan knows J Rich one of the best entertaining ballers ever. He was an exceptional shooter and a great defender.
J Rich was special on that court
I was in a group home called Saint Vincent in Saginaw, Michigan in 1999 and I remember getting the chance to go watch Saginaw High vs Saginaw Arthur Hill. This was when Saginaw High had Charles Rogers and Anthony Roberson. Even though Saginaw High won, the dunks J Rich was doing were crazy! People said they could hear the cheers from miles away! Hands down one of the best times of my life. I ended up going to Michigan State the next year and met Charles Rogers and Jason Richardson. Them times just brings a huge smile to my face.
Boi said “Steve out there “👀👀😂😂😂
JRich was my favorite basketball player when he played with the Warriors. Always enjoyed his game. Great seeing him again in the big 3. His competitiveness is really cool to see
That tier of really good players like Jrich, Jamison, mcdysse, Rashard Lewis, jr smith, monta, Josh smith, Elton brand, al Jefferson, Danny granger ( etc) is why I love the 2000s.
Mike Finley, Mike Miller, Lamar Odom, Ron Artest, Rudy Fernandez, Chris Kaman, Baron Davis, Jason Terry, a lot of buckets man
Granger was a PROBLEM. He had super potential. Injuries robbed him. I seen him get lit. He had it
NBA 2k5 dunk contest I’m throwing elbowing the ball off the clock with Jason richardson 😂
Bro I’m 28 watching this and your guys are perfect for this! You guys got it down pat! Appreciate how you guys Bridge the gap from my generation of basketball to this new blood coming in this show is elite 💯
J Rich n BD was nice in the backcourt
J.Rich was one of the best to do it . Shout out one of the best dunkers ever....! Love from Toronto 🇨🇦
Should’ve asked about the 2004 dunk contest vs Fred jones. Jrich had some impressive misses. He attempted the 360 eastbay off the lob, and the elbow in the rim 360 off the lob in 04’ that’s insane. And he made the eastbay off the glass 🔥 dude was different
Man I shot ball with most the guys J Rich named and to just go down memory lane about The High and Hill games was always amazing. Will be emotional watching the final game between the two. Big up J.
Man, I live by Oakland and I remember watching Richardson in an open scrimmage practice do a reverse 2 handed windmill (like Vince carters in the dunk contest but with 2 hands) from baseline. It was nasty
I think I comment this every episode… 🗣️WE NEED A MONTA EPISODE
I remember that game !! Saginaw High vs Arthur Hill rival was epic Dre Huelette was nice!! The 98’Hill team was tough!!
I'm from Florida, but I lived with my dad in Bay City for half a year in 1997.... The school I went to was Bay City Central who was terrible.... But the division they were in had so many legendary players and teams from Saginaw and Flint...
@@CornbreadJenkins34 yes the J rich Kelvin Tolbert Anthony Roberson the Valley aka the baby NBA
As a Kid from Saginaw who went to Arthur Hill this is huge for me, I remember always seeing JRich jersey retired in the gym legend 🔥🔥🔥
I’m from Saginaw too bro! You had to be there to witness pure basketball talent from vets park to high vs the hill 💯
Arguably the most underrated dunker of all time
Nahh the real ones know
@@mattycampy yeah, for him. I definitely don't agree with that.
Underrated? What's his rating?
Very good ballplayer. Wish there were more like him that want to play basketball Every game. Great show!
“Yo, Yo, Yo, we live on location” this is the only show that I get hyped for during the intro!
Bruh the reverse 360 through the legs was legendary growing up. We used to all try to pull that one out dunking on the low hoops. Another DAWG!
This the one I was waiting on 🔥🔥💪🏼 j rich was a beast
Not just a dunker, phenomenal scorer. Knockdown shooter. Hence why he played so long, was a solid 3 and d player will into his later years.
Saginaw Michigan stand up!!!
We in here fasho 🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite Warriors and one of the best/creative dunkers in the game.
Great interview 💪🏾😎🙏🏾.... Love these dudes
Y’all always have such good guest man and love how you let them talk, best sports podcast by landslide
J-Rich was filthy. That we believe warriors team was wild. Baron, Stephen Jackson, J- Rich, Monta Ellis, Matt Barnes, Al Harrington, Biedrins. They were sick!
More players from the 00s please. I luv thisss
Hearing him talk about playing with Steve Nash specifically is hilarious. iykyk
JRich was my fav player growing up a dubs fans in that era
Hands down my fav dunker..best in game dunks i ever seen..& his dunk contest dunks are 2nd to none!!!
2nd to Vince you mean
JRich, my Guy had the 2nd Best Dunk Contest behind "Half Man Half Amazing" Vince Carter, solid career!
Jason Richardson is my all time favorite Dub. Steph is the greatest player of our franchise, but J-Rich was a bright spot that got me through some dark days as a Warriors fan until Steph arrived and the We Believe team is one I will never forget. I’m glad you guys got to talk to him for an episode 😁
J Rich one of the coolest! Used to always show love when he'd pop up at church. I'd shake his hand to say wassup and remember this dude hand would cover my entire arm lol
Might of been around 02/03 in hayward CA
Without a doubt the best dunks in dunk contest history imo. Legendary.
Bruhhhh one of my favorite players! Haven’t heard from him in years!!! That dude was definitely one of the best dunkers ever!
Spartan Dawg!!!!! Love you, J.R.!!!!!
One of the best dunkers in 2000s. Great to see him develop a jumper in later part of his career. Thanks for all the highlights JRich - miss seeing dunkers like him and VC 💪
Leeeeets gooooo J Rich mayne. Appreciate ya
Damn back to back bangers
This was a great interview, glad to see Jrich getting his flowers and talking about Saginaw Michigan and all the talent coming out of my city.
Saginaw Strong
Another NBA 2K legend killed with J Rich back in college; a lot of noddles, a lot of noodles, thanks to that man
WHATTT, JRICH...ONE OF MY FAVS
Those Michigan athletic rules are #NASTYWORK‼️🤨😏
J Rich 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
J Rich was larger than life for a kid in the East Bay. Was lucky enough to sit lower bowl for the We Believe era. Salute
J-Rich #Great #Dunker #Solid #Player
I saw J-Rich live in Staples Center do a windmill during an actual game. That got me off my seat!
Q Rich and D Miles are a great combo
I wish the NBA wasn’t so strict on footage because I’m not the only one who wanna see these old VHS tapes of Q and D hooping in the summer league, too hard to come by old clippers games.
Class of 99'!!!!!!!!
at 10:10 Q's face is just priceless.. when a BF busts you down, you know..
Loved this.🙏 Can you guys try to get Monta on the show in the future?
Hometown hero Saginaw finest
I was at those games State had vs Iowa St etc in the tourney. That was so damn fun.
Ion understand how this channel doesn’t have more subs
Stellar.
Peace to The 989.
Peace to Michigan State , The Magic Man is my favorite player.
Peace to The We Believe Warriors.
That 2002 and 2003 NBA Slam Dunk Contest were amazing.
Peace to Jason Kidd, he was the best high school player I ever saw live.
Interview left out, J-Rich at State had some of the coldest highlights. Ask UNC,AZ to mention a few but that UNC was his coming out party with dickie v!!!
Fantastic dunker
This is the best show
Him on New Jersey would’ve been insane 😂😂😂 him, RJ, Kmart. So many lob threats
I was a michigan state recruit years ago… so i would go to open gyms on campus… the shoulder pads and helmets story is REAL!!! 😂😂😂
Should've asked about piping Steve Nash wife
Aye D Miles start back hitting that “Legend Legend”
J-Rich 😍
Live dunk contest was the truth !
Facts
One of the greatest dunkers in NBA history.
J rich, bounce king
I remember playing against them. DeAndre Hughly was a beast. They had a PG named Freddie Jackson. That dude really was the glue cuz he could run that team perfectly. Arthur Hill & Flint Northern games were lit!!
Can't forget about Arthur Hill VS Flint Northwestern led by Kelvin Tolbert them games was crazy
S/o J-Rich…spartan dawg!!! Dang d miles you left out so many questions about growing up🤷🏾♂️
I use to have J-Rich playing like Jordan on 2k 😂
Crazy they only got 29k subs. Dope they don't sweat it.
The 2k glitch himself 😂😂😂
J Rich a true professional
Unless you're Steve Nash 😂😂😂
He has one dunk never been done again!
Sagtown legend. Dre need to get Ham an Rich on the podcast
They got pads doing the war drill must’ve been nice. When I was doing that shit in high school we were leaving practice with ice pads and bruises. But that is the perfect team drill
J Rich loves Steve Nash
