Absolutely. Always best to keep it real! I’m 2 weeks away from graduating nail school! I can’t wait! I do nail content full time as well. Working on brand deals is a full time pursuit. I do whatever I can to make it work but it ain’t easy at all. Nail stuff isn’t cheap either and I do love trying all the things… I don’t get paid by any brands but that would certainly be nice some day. A girl has to dream, right? Keep your head up and keep reaching for your goals!

Thank you for talking about your experience. Literally last week I moved into a studio and right out because I was told different pricing after I already moved in. There’s a lot to the story but it was frustrating. I’m now working from home until I build my clientele because I can’t afford a studio and a mortgage atm.

What do you use for your ventilation system?
I can definitely relate I have been at my nail career since 2014 but have only truly been doing nails full time since 2022. When I tell you that sometimes it is hard and discouraging in this industry. I am terrified of just being a full-time Contant creator just because it’s been hard just to get clients so in my mind I’m like what brand or company is actually gonna wanna work with me if I can’t even get clients to book with me ? 😅 thank you for sharing this because it does go to show that sometimes it really is a leap of faith and trusting the process and journey you take

I worked as a full time nail tech for a few years, I’ve been in the industry for about 5. In late August the last of my shit hit the fan, and I left the place I’d been renting. Rent is crazy high and where I was was cheap. I couldn’t afford to move anywhere else and I couldn’t stay there so I brought everything home. I’ve been floundering for 3 months trying to figure out what to do, I’ve been considering press ons and/or trying what you’re doing, making content, but I don’t even know here to start with content.
What I can say is this was so comforting because I really do always feel like everyone is running smoothly and I’m on outdated software. I needed to be reminded to trust myself, and that things unfold as we allow them to. Thank you for this, you gained a new subscriber for sure!
