In this video I demonstrate an often overlooked maintenance item - greasing the steering cable boot. This should be done very often, at least every 25 hours or a minimum of 2 times per year to prolong the life of your steering cable. IF you ride in salt water, this should be done every other ride. Most dealers will not do this as they would rather sell you a new cable!

Yeah I do mine every 25 hours as well. Have yet to ride in saltwater, but with that KSPEED STX stage 1 kit, it’s hard not to goose the throttle and fly. I’m in the air a lot 😁

I prefer Corrosion Block marine grease but anything is better than nothing
