I've used them in 2 cars they fit great in a bug

All VW's are IRS. Either swing axle or double jointed as per VW owners manual.

Are you going too brace the rear shock mounts? The front are you going too use the empi through rods for the extra free movement

I still run the leaf pack in the front just no lock nuts on the beam adjusters
