What kills me is we went into the off-season needing a center and didn't even seem to try to get a center.

Idk, call timeouts to stop momentum. Listen to LeBron when he asks for a challenge on a call. Continue to run plays in the 4th quarter, that specifically include AD so he puts up shots in the 4th...and we beat the nuggets...I think changing out ham is opportunity for a massive improvement. It's not guaranteed but ham was the difference in that series imo

Lakers don't need a 3rd star. All they need is a quality big, and quality roll players. That's it.
If the Lakers signed Klay for the money reported over 3 seasons it would’ve been disastrous. Russell Westbrook 2.0. Thankfully, they dodged that bullet. LA will have a healthier team too, with guys who didn’t play last year and they didn’t make any rash trade blunders. They’ve chosen to be patient. That’s success to me.

The biggest move was firing Ham, he mismanaged lineups and the players had checked out for a long time
What hurts the most is coaches saying no to us and players picking other teams over us very publicly.
Let's just stay positive. Actually our team last year was not too bad at all. Hoping our team this year will stay comparatively healthy this year.
Glad to see that you recognize the impact of the Paris trip to the Lakers system. If James plays 60 games the Lakers will be OK. The Pelinka problem is Delo. The Lakers need to move Russell to open up the roster. No teams want Delo. Trev knows, he tried to trade Delo for Murray all last year. Is Delo on the blackball list? Lakers like Reaves and Vincent. They like Knecht and Max and need to play them both to see if they can be part of the future. Max for defense. Knecht for shooting. Utah is not trading Lauri Mark. Not going to happen.

If Gabe & Vando can stay healthy they’ll be way better. They are the best 2 perimeter defenders on the team. Still think D Lo & Rui might get traded. Relax
We have a high chance of facing Denver again next season in the playoffs. Need to build for that. You could get very lucky and dodge them, but then you're still praying DLo/Rui can score so well that their lack of defense doesn't kill you.
To be fair, D-Lo’s defense wasn’t that bad in the Denver series as he was staying in front of his man and did well guarding KCP. Even in the 2 games he scored well they lost. To me the biggest difference was not having healthy defenders in that series where Vando slows down MPJ for example. It cannot always be all on the same narrative people run with if you objectively watch the games. Not saying D-Lonis perfect but even when he played well the Lakers couldn’t keep leads and let the wrong people beat them.
Nowadays players are after the bag and some coaches but without all that pressure to win a championship! Let’s be honest!!

There’s no chance Lebron and AD are happy with this off season so far. Even Reaves is probably thinking wtf. Trevor did an interview with Reaves and he mentioned the possibility of getting a big bodied center to help out AD and the impact it would have on defense.

Roster is not that bad they won 47 games in a tough western conference. Lakers need to fix the bench. When Lebron or AD misses game they get blow out.

An entire segment on why coaches and players don't want to come to the Lakers right now and neither Alan or Trevor can bring themselves to state the obvious, that Lebron is in decline, and no top player wants to be the victim of Lebon's blame game. How many coaches has LBJ killed in his career? How many players has he thrown under the bus and forced to be traded? The fear of the Klutch mafia is stunning.

Wow @Lakers GM & Front Office really looks Bad when it comes to Negotiating for Elite Championship Star Caliber Pieces THEY CAN’T GET IT DONE. It’s proven itself time & time again. Star Elite LeBron is there because of Magic. Star Elite AD is there because of Magic & LeBron. There are no Star Elites acquired by Rob & Front Office NOT GOOD!!!! It’s not because of the Franchise / Organization because Jerry Buss did a GREAT job establishing and Building such a great organization. RATHER, it’s those who are running it, those who are in operation of it. That’s the REAL problem not the Franchise / Organization because again Jerry Buss did an Excellent job building the Best Franchise in Basketball and one of the Best Francises in Sports. Kudos to Jerry Buss for that. Unfortunately, those that are currently running it and operating it, haven’t been able to Negotiate and Land Star Elite Championship Caliber Players. Magic Johnson who was raised up and build up by Jerry Buss whom he calls his dad and Jerry Buss considered him as a son was the only one who was able to Land the two Big Fish’s in LeBron & AD. Gotta get the right workable & likable people in office / in place to keep Jerry’s legacy alive and going strong. If not, all his hard work of building and establishing such a great Franchise will just continue to crumble. Jerry, Kobe and Magic are all about Championships as well as all the other @Laker greats, players and fans. These guys could get things done and accomplished. Players wanted to come and they never considered going to any other team. Trade Austin Reeves and Gabe Vincent for Miles Bridges and Nick Richards problem solved. You get a Athletic 3 and D wing, also you get a solid big that can rebound and defend. I don't think we would even have to give up a pick even though it'll probably be worth it. The only way we're getting a trade done is if we trade Reeves. I like Reeves, but I'm a LAKERS FAN. If he gotta go to upgrade the team, then he gotta go.
