- Blood Mountain with elevation of 4458 feet is the highest point on the Applachian Trail Georgia Section. It is one of the most attractive hiking trails near Neels Gap in Georgia.
Blood mountain can be reached by 1) Freeman Loop Trail 2) Byron Reece Trail connecting AT Trail 3) Coosa Backcountry Trail in Vogel State Park.
