In the latest episodes of General Hospital, tensions are escalating with Sonny Corinthos, played by Maurice Benard, seemingly on the brink of a breakdown. Ava Jerome, portrayed by Maura West, is plotting against Sonny and bringing him closer to the edge by manipulating his medication.
The conflict between Sonny and Ava stems from a custody battle over their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos. Sonny's threats and reckless behavior are causing concern among his loved ones, including Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Meanwhile, Ava may use this situation to her advantage, potentially pushing Sonny to act out violently. The situation is further complicated by the involvement of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and FBI agent John Jagger Cates (Antonio Sabato Jr).

I said the same thing. I also hope Morgan haunts Ava for what she did to him and is now doing to Sonny. She lost it before and put herself in the mental hospital, she was hallucinating/seeing the people she hurt. Hiding in the hospital, curled up in a ball, feeling guilty.
I keep thinking the same thing! Like why the f!%#* isn’t anybody questioning this when it’s happened before?!?
Jason and Carly need to find out about Sonny’s meds before he looses it.

You or so right Ava needs to deal with that is a very evil person that will do something like that Sonny will never do anything like that Ava is lower than a snake and how low down can you go I wish to God that someone will find out that what she did to his Medicine Ava need to get what is coming to her.
Jagger tracking Ava's movements should know Ava visited the Pharmacy.
Knowing Sonny's history with his Bi-Polar meds & what happens when he's off of them, PLUS the fact that Sonny won't get a blood test because he thinks he's okay........Carly needs to find a way to get one of his pills & have IT tested, just like Ava did. That's the only thing that I can see keeping Sonny from ending up either in Shady Brook OR Pentonville. C'mon, Carly......come to Sonny's rescue before it's too late......
Story Idea: Sonny, in a rage, does something to really hurt someone Laura loves (RIP Kevin?), and then SHE has to be on the other side of the "are they culpable if they were sick" question. Also, I see Morgan coming back to Sonny in a dream to warn him that Ava is doing the same thing to Sonny that was done to him. Fun times.
It's kinda weird that Jason and Carly haven't figured out something is wrong with Sonny or his meds. They always picked up on his behavior when he didn't take his medication. He worst then he had ever been .
I think they know something is off. They just can't pinpoint exactly what's going on.
@@maryloukettlewood-md7bj Carly actually went and checked his meds. Because they're labeled incorrectly she thought he was on track. She looked confused. Because Sonny distanced himself from Jason, he's not close enough to get the full picture

Problem with Ava doing the med thing again. Morgan died because tampered meds led to his reckless behavior. Thought she'd learned that lesson

Ava is angry because Sonny doesn’t want her, you can’t force anyone to love you. Sonny needs to remember that Ava told him that she had killed Nicholas, Ava told Sonny everything. Jason need to get the evidence on his own and forget about Anna she can’t be trusted when it comes to Valentine. I am sick and tired of Valentine always getting away with his crimes. And I am tired of the Pikeman storyline, and tampering with someone Meds is a storyline I don’t like, that is dangerous.
Where is Phyllis when we need her? She must’ve gone back to Nixon Falls knowing the Nina/Sonny thing would explode eventually. At least Carly and Jason realize something is off, but neither one sees enough to know exactly what is happening. It’s really got to end soon though.
Let's get this sunny medicine over with somebody else needs to pay attention about Sonny I'm so tired of hearing about Sonny spiraling get somebody else involved with his meds
Sorry story going on since beginning of the year already or since Jason came back at least they know what Ava did to Morgan how could they not be suspicious 😳. Even after Dante episode how could he not see something was terribly wrong 😢 they are dragging this out someone prob will be hurt or dead but for Pete's sake lets move on already

What everyone in the Corinthos family should do including Jason & Carly should investigate with Sonny's Bipolar Meds before it's too late, because honestly I don't want him to hurt anyone else. He's in enough trouble as it is, and this storyline cannot go above & beyond. I can picture Morgan in his dream of him telling him that Ava's doing the exact same thing to him that she did with his own son. Really enough is enough!!!!
Remember Sonny still has Jason so if Sonny is not in his right mind, Jason will stop Valentine and Ava.
Why is the writer's writing such wheat scripts for Jason and Carly that they don't know is something wrong with Sonny he's not his self and they have a check into reasons why he's not himself they have seen him off of his meds before and they should know that's basically what's going wrong with him
I’m really not seeing how Ava can stay on the show much longer. She’s either going to wind up being killed by Sonny or Valentin or going to prison when everything comes to light. Maybe Maura West wants to escape the train wreck that this show has become.

SONNY was having a depression espoid. He asked fot 2 weeks off work.

Can someone refresh my memory? Did Ava ever pay for killing Connie Falconari? It was so long ago, I just don’t remember. I remember when it happened but don’t recall if anyone was accused.

Besides assaulting Ava, doing something in court, causing a shootout during the arms shipment, going after Cates and going after someone close to him, I could also see him going after Drew if the mother-daughter scandal is revealed soon. It's interesting knowing we've got a one day Morgan ghost or dream image appearing in early August AND two publicity events with MB/VM in early August. Wonder if this is it for Sonny's mobster days.
I'm just so fatigued with some of these story lines that just go on and on. How about less and less scenes of Chase and Brooklyn telling each other how much they mean to each other, or even less and less of Joss, Trina and Gio taking up air time for no interesting reasons, SO we can get on with these dramatic story lines to bring them to an end. There's just endless segments of characters saying the same things to each other all week long every week. Many of the characters in question aren't even interesting to begin with. Then the Sonny story and the Pikeman story keeps getting kicked down the road until I want to scream, "I don't care anymore!"
I'm so sick of all these people trying to make Sonny blowup! The truth about his meds needs to come out and end this storyline.

Yes Maurice Bernard is having problems in real life because of the storyline he mentioned it on his podcast. He said he had to take some time off. The writers need to stop writing this type of storyline for him
Sonny's been acting more like the old Sonny prior to Nixon Falls. They never did say why Ava was trying to seduce him when she was living at his penthouse. I don't see anything good ahead for this dayplayer pharmacist.

plus Ava had commented to Scotty that Jagger was following her. So knowing that makes him the perfect tool to be the witness to whatever happens. Valentin's intent was to lower the meds gradually to zero, honestly, I don't think it would have even still been at 1/4 at this point, but most people get three months worth of meds at a time.
I love Belinda & the Subs on this Channel. I have been watching GH for more yrs than I like to admit I have a Question and would like INPUT Why didn't they have a romance back with Jason and Carly once Jason came back and drew ended things with her. I'm CURIOUS.
Because of Sunny. They feel they can’t while he’s around and flaunt their romance in his face. Sunny would take that as the ultimate betrayal ..

I think that when Dante was over at Sonny’s office that Sonny was offended that Dante questions him on anything. Even if it’s not work related. I think he spoke to Dante that way on purpose. 😊
I really don't want Ava to get away with what she done to Blaze and Sonny daughter. She knew what could happen. Thats wasn't a problem for her deep down.

They’ve dragged this Sonny plot on far too long. I don’t care at this point and am ff through his scenes. It’s enough already. Maurice says he’s having a blast playing this but it’s not about him enjoying it, it’s about the viewers. The fact Ava was living there and she tampered before with Morgan’s meds but no one is suspecting it now is preposterous and insulting.
We need a murder mystery. Nina gets it after exposing Drew & Willow. She humiliates so many people. Suspects: Sonny, Ava, Drew, Willow, Michael, Carly or…is newly released Heather back to her old serial killer ways? 😳 Someone is being framed! Dark horse suspect and actual killer-newly fired Invader editor. 😮

I just wish Sonny would be ok and he learn before he spirals that his meds were tamper and Ava doesn’t have a clue and he gets through the courts with flying colors. And have it be Jason that helps him realize what happened and Sonny knows that Jason has always been faithful to him.
Does it matter? Sonny is the star of the show.

People forgot already that Sonny beat Dex and Kristina witnessed it and Anna knows this happened to? Laura knows Sonny beat Cyrus too. So the question is will both Cyrus and Dex testify in court with Laura and Anna testifying they knew how dangerous Sonny is and of course star witness Kristina the daughter of Sonny being forced to testify against Sonny will be enough for Sonny to lose it in court and the judge orders him hauled off to jail.
Carly will end up back with Sonny and Ava will end up with Cates Jason will be in a 2l3 way again with Lucky and Jason
