I need to pass along my thanks! Short story is, I’m 70, average mechanical skills. Because of your videos and most importantly your explanations I’ve been able to do the following on my ‘74 TR6…installed the Nissan reared conversion with CV axles, adjustable camber boxes, rear springs, front springs, disassembled the front, etc. I couldn’t have done it without your help! I plan to send you some monetary thanks but via mail…gun shy sending electronically!
Back in the 1960' & 70's I worked in the motor trade . When I heard about your channel I thought I'd watch it to see how a younger man than me worked on my favourite cars of my youth, Triumphs of course. To be frank you out skilled me in most jobs and your extra skills at logging all this on video and doing the editing was gobsmacking. You richly deserve everything you get and I wish you well for your forthcoming projects . Thank you Elin ..
Elin, I hope you know how much your "Rusty Beauties" channel means to us, the viewers. You kick us in our asses with how you can easily make parts or repair what you have to fix. I know you are on vacation, and hope you have a good time. I watch all of your videos as they make me want to progress on my own "Rusty Beauty" TR6 . It is absolutely amazing, all of the parts donated by your subscribers or viewers, I feel humbled since I donated so few parts. Just so you know, I am in Argentina right now and, yes, I have a Rusty Beauties T shirt with me. I was also in Brazil with the same shirt, I can send photos. You and David are amazing with what you show us that can be done. Ok, I am writing this writing this as I am watching, Wow what stuff you have donated for your cause! I am so happy for you getting the donations, I just received one myself, a TR6, which, I hope I can get in some kind of usable condition in a few years

P.S. Triumph owners have proven to me to be most generous and helpful over the years. Back in the early days of the Internet, before CZcams, I recall packages showing up in the mail, unsolicited, containing a small piece I was missing and had been trying source, that I'd mentioned on one forum or another.

I really hope the GT6 project gets done this summer and goes to the Six Pack Trials as an interloper again this autumn / fall !
I’m in my sixth year of hoping the GT6 will be “done this summer”..
Unfortunately that will not happen until I can focus on that car for a longer period of time. I f I anly do a little bit here and there it will never work. That's my point I tried to explain in this video.

Elin, when you are finally able to finish your own cars, some of which you will then sell, make sure that you make that clear all through the restoration process. That way (I am sure) you will attract a good number of interested potential buyers that will then be there to make healthy offers on each car when the time eventually comes for you to sell them.
Follow your heart and move towards working on your own cars. I'll be looking forward to it.

We’ve spoken about this in the past of course and I’m still confident that you will be able to buy your own house eventually. ( whether it’s in my remaining life time or not remains to be seen!) but I am positive that your plan to restore and then sell some of your own cars is the right way forward. I know you will eventually achieve what you want so Bless you, your wonderful son Nick and your whole family. 🙏🇬🇧
Hey Elin, I don't even have a car to work and I love to watch you an Cheftush. I have always loved the TR250 and got hooked watching you guys. Also, Love the Mida series. Nick is growing up.

What can I say Elin, you DO Need to work on your cars, I hope that your CZcams presence continues to grow so you can transition to the work you love on your own cars. That's a very nice video and I'm glad you enjoy what you do. You should do more for YOUR cars! Just get to a point where you only work on customer cars for whatever number of hours a day and days of the week you feel is necessary for the current time.. as You tube becomes better at looking after you and your family, then reduce these hours and days and you will achieve what you are aiming for. This was your plan when you were going to work Thursdays on Anna it was your plan to have her complete last Sept for the trials. This didn't happen so create the new plan and try to stick to it. I wish you all the best and I hope your wish comes true.
One day, when you are working on your own cars, they will be amazing with all those donated parts! I will admit, I'm a little jealous, although pleased for you, I've had to work hard to afford the parts on my Triumphs, Enjoy!
Elin, i imagine that the people that watch your channel, also watch other engineering / car channels , i certainly do , so last week i listed all the things i like to watch and then recommended your channel to all of the others, don't know if it will grow your channel but ive tried to help , a great deal of TV these days is simply not worth watching whereas CZcams lets me pick the things I'm interested in . Here in the UK we have to pay a licence fee just to watch any TV and it's mostly rubbish , anyway, good luck to you .
