I watched a good portion of this hearing today and I noticed a drastic difference between the way Democrats asked him questions and the way republicans asked him questions. The republicans seemed to have done just that - simply seek answers and ask questions. The Democrats seemed to have taken this as an opportunity to spit rhetoric as they normally do in the form of what sounded like "questions". As if they had more information that the prosecutor who did the damn investigation. The same happened with the Muller report. Muller repeated several times during his speech loud and clear and paused every time before he said it "I repeat....No...Collusion" then democrats would ask a question during Mullers hearing and say "Mr. Muller, with the findings of President Trump colluding with the Russians..." Like bitch - he invested this for 2 1/2 years and clearly stated to the American people multiple times there was no collusion. Do you have a question? Or are you using your time to make statements to the American people because cameras are on to sound like questions? Same thing is happening with Durham. One congressman went through a list of people prosecuted and convicted during the Muller report to Durham and was asking "Did this person get prosecuted and convicted?" Durham said "yes", he asks "did THIS individual also get prosecuted and convicted?" Durham said "yes." he asks about Roger Stone "Did Roger Stone get prosecuted and convicted?" Durham said "yes...but that was for a completely unrelated event" And the congressman said "I dont appreciate you being bias to this topic. You can chose to cooperate and simply answer yes or no or you can devalue yourself as a prosecutor. Answer the question. Yes or No." Like dude, I know we always want yes or no answers, but there was a caveat to that person. He was prosecuted for a completely separate crime. Are you just trying to lump all these people together to yet again make some rhetoric statement in the form of a sentence? Because im not buying it. Because the people you mentioned WERE prosecuted and convicted. But let's not leave out hte fact they were convicted for "Lying under oath". That could mean ANYTHING to "Were you here on Oct 7th?" and saying "Yes I was" but really you were there October 8th. That would be lying under oath and they all took plea deals. That doesnt mean they were convicted of the crime they were originally prosecuted for. Theyre really trying to play the American people for fools thinking we wont go and look up all these cases and people brought up because then you'd realize he was just trying to make some false case here that was pure rhetoric. The Judiciary Committee is to ask questions to make a better assessment of the situation to move forward or put an end to whatever these investigations are. Ask questions, thats it.

For your information the investigation was originally started because George Popadopolus told an Australian diplomat that the Trump campaign had be approached by the Russians who were willing to share derogatory information on Clinton. Since the FBI already new Russia was trying to influence the election, and knew Carter Page had previously been approached by the Russian to be an asset it raised concerns.

The rules that apply to witness questioning in courts of law should also apply to committee hearings. Any lawyer who habitually used these tactics would be objected to and eventually disbarred. The problem with term limits is that they excise the good and the bad without discrimination. I believe that qualifying voters would be a better intervention.

As someone who leans left, I was impressed with Mr. Durham and how he handled himself at this hearing. I was going on nothing, not really paying attention to him much beforehand. The Senator from Tennessee came off badly, as an angry man trying to berate someone. Durham was in a bad situation, getting grilled by both sides much of the time. I'd say his reputation went up a few notches with his family, friends and God. It did with me anyway. He never lost composure.
What is it that you like on the left, Joe? Just take a look at the various things they support, including the gender pretender madness, open borders, lawlessness, violence, and looting, critical race theory in the schools, etc. it goes on and on. The things that the democrats used to stand for (back in the day) like freedom of speech, civil rights, the Bill of Rights, they are now actively opposed to. So far, I have only seen a majority of the clips praising Dunham and this is one that frames the Dems as bad because Dunham got applause. But he got applause for the mention of “the Lord”. I’m in support of faith, but Dunham seemed to have ignored aspects of the work to avoid a few scope of the case. That is surprising. And Rep Cohen should not have gone all anti-DJT on Mr. Dunham.
