DB is an amazing band. Almost 30 years of existence. I prefer the older stuff but they still great. Try the song "Mourning Palace" live. Its amazing.

I love Dimmu borgir. I suggest you watching their whole concert in Wacken. If you are interested in great male singers in heavy metal, in my very subjective opinion you have to check Simen Hestnæs or Vortex (he was a member of Dimmu borgir til 2009) Chris Cornell, Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Michael Poulsen (Volbeat). One interesting aspect with Shagrath (the vocalist of Dimmu Borgir) is that he doesn't really sing like your "average" black metal vocalist, like for instance Dani Filth from Cradle of Filth, Daniel Rostén from Marduk, Jonas Berndt from Mörk Gryning or Kristoffer Olivius from Naglfar. Shagrath (or Stian Tomt Thoresen) is utilising more throat singing.... think Mongolian singing for example... and you get the way Stian is singing. Plus, that you can much more easily make out what he's singing compared to many other artists in the same genre.
