This is completely beautiful. I love these hybrid styles I'm looking at. It looks like you guys are alternating showing off the most amazing sides of both wrestling and no gi judo
As a wrestler, we use to "spar" like this is all the time, very beneficial for your technique and to get the "feel of things" for different positions you encounter.
Ask them to just flow with you. Or ask them to take turns hitting takedowns with 50% resistance. Tell them to check out Stephen Abas if he doesn't think there's value in flowing.
@@charleskeys8836 Thank you for the advice. The problem is usually me. Haha! My mindset is always to not get submitted or smashed and I see every spar as a must win situation. I’m trying to change that now because this mindset has its benefits but also its downsides. One being injuries.
@@charleskeys8836 Yes! Thank you. I’ve started the mindset change and flow rolling (BJJ) a while ago but need to do it more. I’ve noticed I don’t do the same things every time, those things that come natural to me. It’s not action reaction but actual time to think and apply different techniques. It’s more fun learning/sparring this way. Sometimes I apply this to my standup game (takedowns, wrestling) but it’s harder for me to flow there. That’s why it’s beautiful to see these guys flow like this. Thanks again for the advice! 🥋🤼
5:40 minutes of beauty... I noticed that wrestling take downs are powerful, and Judo is more smooth... And I am just sitting here with my mouth open 😂😂
Was the wrestler wresting with wresting rules (going for pin) and the judoka with Bjj rules ?(found the answer in the description) thnx awesome content
My friend Jeongyeon McGregor has black belt in Taekwondo, Judo, BJJ & Kyokushin Karate and according to her it's the Judo which is the toughest of the four which earned the black belt.
Judo has a specific rule set to be practiced with the kimono. Without it, you have to brrak several taboos in order to make it effective. With that in mind, wrestling is a very brutesque sport utilizing straight overwhelming pressure while judo is technical with timing. If they both same size and weight, wrestler can try to dismantle the judoka and maybe he can but one slip and judo makes you tap
Usually wrestler just overwhelms the other grappler in that match up bc the pace is a lot more intense in wrestling matches than most other grappling heavy sports
This arsonist/reverse fireman’s takedown looks really good but how come I’ve never seen it before? You’d think it would be common already. Is it just because wrestling stance is too crouched and you can’t grab the legs in judo?
@@riccardoscotti117 funny I didn't know indigenous Brazilians people spoke Japanese and wore kimonos 😅. The game is based on the rules. I don't prescribe to the rules of the ibjjf so I don't credit them with the style that I practice. 🤙🏽
these boys are smooth operators.
Meanwhile, nobody at my gym is willing to wrestle so lucidly and without friction.
Keeping the art in martial arts

Dat omoplata and rolling backtake was not no gi judo lol but definitely agree it was beautiful.
@@3mlg5uImmlg100% was Judo, imo bjj ground fighting is superior but Judo's takedown into instant submission is still king.
Nice work. More like Wrestler AND Judoka. It was a great showcase of techniques.
This its just pure art of combat. The flow its amazing. Pure technical work pure respect. Love it!
P.D: love both styles but the judoka man was mesmerizing
judo take downs are just so beautiful tbh
You are a good athlete. Some quality people you train with also. I enjoy your content. Thank you.
Very interesting to watch and learn. Thanks for sharing
Definitely one of my favorite channels to follow. With a Kid who's seriously competitive in No Gi Grappling.
The flow is amazing, great work
This is beautiful work
Awesome roll! Good technique from both.
Love how you aren't trying to kill each other. If i wanted to fight i could get in a fight every day. I don't wanna fight, i wanna fight for money.
Great work from both guys. Very technical and smooth 🔥
Watching these grappling flows are fire! That entanglement at 4:50 wash cool asl
Incredible flow, beautiful
This is beautiful. So high level. Two different styles, but both so effective, just letting each other work
This is a pleasure to watch
beautifully fluid and technical

I love your stuff ❤
Its so difficult to find someone to train with at that intensity. Great stuff...
Amazing work guys
Hermoso! Cuánta fluidez en los movimientos. Oss!
My favorite sequences: 2:25, 2:50, and 3:30
Two of my favorite martial arts.
Awesome match
Nicely done! Was very interesting and informative to see these flow drills. I will try to add this to my training too.

Both Judo & Wrestling are effective, worth learning, and necessary for anyone in mma 👌🏾
Beautiful flow
I’ve been learning more about max. Very talented guy
I signed up for his OF.
I want to learn about him as much as I can
I love that you've started going for berimbolos!
Def enjoying adding them to my game!
2:10 is so smooth
I wish folks in my gym would flow roll like this.
They roll like this because at least one of them is a black belt. This is also why most training injuries occur at earlier belts.
Ask them go to shot for shot, that's the game being played in the video
All is smooth like water flow
This video is wild 🤟🏼
Judo and wrestling are brothers. Both are beautiful, both are respectable
Dude in the background at 1:05 is teaching that move on purpose 😂
simply beautifull
Poetry in motion❤

So fun to watch
I love the flow
Damnn that was so smooth
0:15 was a beautiful way to start.
Very nice, love it. Tell me what is the point of berimbolo when you are at the top and roll to get the back
I just like half back.

Mesmerizing to watch. Whatever this system of Judo is, it looks like a complete system similar to original Japanese jiujitsu.
Une bonne opposition des tyle et des bonnes variations techniques.㊗👍
Wooo love your modified ko Soto? I don’t even know what it is, your first couple
Super super good.
I did judo, but it turned out that excellent body control still seals the submission.
This wrestle is the best
Gracias
Muy bueno!!
I was 3 mins in until I realized he had wrestling shoes on
Subbed..
🔥 🔥
A wrestler and a judoka doing Murican Jiu Jitsu gang gang
Cool

POETRY 🙌🏼💯💪🏽❤️❤️❤️
Souple 👌🏼
good stamina
Undeniable judô is a way more complete grappling art. But looks like that judoka trains lotando Jiu Jitsu
Judo is useless in wrestling because we have not Judo No Gi clubs for training for real body fight...
And this is the result !
Fantastic ! 😂
Is that David Taylor?!

Which one is which ?
Shoes is the wrestler, barefoot is the judoka
Look on juice 💉
Both of them fight well
who is who ?
The wrestler is wearing wrestling shoes.
Sheesh!!! 🍑🔥

There are other variations of it. In general it's not an easy move to perform. And you have to be an overhook player to use it.
fanatic wrestling has free clip with that. I think Ivanov shows it
Thank you guys! Would love to learn more about this TD
It's jiujitsu not judo
Judoka with jujitsu
Only take downs, the other things are bjj
Just jiu jitsu, no Brazilians are featured in this video
