Agreed... I picked up "Pyre of the Black Heart" a month or so ago and have really enjoyed diving more into his solo and other works outside of Nightwish, so hopefully we'll get more of that at some point... if not, he certainly gave us a ton of his music to enjoy and wish him the best of luck wherever his future takes him :)

I real enjoy when bands add Behind the Scenes imagery to their videos. Always seems to give a more detailed insight into the band. These photos just reinforced the "family/brotherhood" vibes that Nightwish gives off. They really seem to enjoy being each other.

This is the song that made my fall in love with Nightwish back in the days. Love to see it performed by Floor, though on this one, I think Tarja's voice fits better. Or maybe it's just the nostalgia of discovering Tarja for the first time.

I was there @ El Teatro de Flores that night. Last time I had seen them live was before Tarja left; 2004. I never thought I'd see them again live so this was beyond my expectations! Floor has come a long way, to think she had only been in the band for a few months. Nightwish will be forever my favorite band. I hope they come back to Argentina soon, I'll be there!

Aside from the photos which are AMAZING (the ones with Freya are so cute...), I can't help but notice that this performance was captured in December 2012, which means Floor had joined the band less than 6 monthes before, yet it seems she's been part of it for years, the way Marco and her work together on stage is outstanding !

Floor Jansen: your voice is absolutely magical. You have the power of doing metal and opera at the same time. No one can beat your voice. You are an absolute metal goddess. You have a sparkle in your eyes and you are absolutely gorgeous.
Marko: Your voice shakes the ground. You are the King of metal, and for that reason no one can ever replace you. Bass/voice!!!! Man what can you not do. Together, you and Floor change metal and your voices together make everyone feel overpowered!! I cried when you left, it made me so sad. I pray for your well being.
Tuomas: Words cannot describe how grateful we are for you. You make music seem mysterious and fairy like. The lyrics you come up with, the songs you create, the names you give to each one of them. It is talent honestly. You rock the keyboards.
Emppu: no one can rock the guitars as much as you do, anytime I watch the videos I see the excitement and happiness in your eyes. You and Marko always overpower other guitarists from metal.
Troy: The instruments you play, no one can replace. You give me Hobbit and LOTR vibes anytime I listen to nightwish. You make the band seem like I am in a fairytale.
Kai: You are the savior of our drums, you make the ground tremble anytime I am at a concert. You are a one of a kind.
Jukka: We miss you dearly but hope you are doing well, you rocked nightwish and you always brought a smile to my face anytime I listened. You were the best at drums and just like Kai, you make the ground shake! Praying for you and always wish you the best.
Jukka Koskinen: Welcome to the band!! So happy you joined. I have watched the concert, and wow!!!!! You were so amazing. I am so so so impressed with your skills. Nightwish picked the best when it came to finding a new bass player. You are rocking and I know you will do so well, one concert was more than enough to prove that.
Finally a note to the entire band: Thank you for existing. You became my favorite band just by listening to the phantom of the opera. It was a CZcams recommendation.... I have never listened to metal. After listening to you I fell in love with Nightwish. I finished listening to every single album within months, I even memorized the lyrics!! If I could show you my Spotify playlist you will see that you are the only band I follow. That's because it is!! I don't listen to any other band (other than your own songs that you each make). I know every song, I know when each part will come. I have only known this band for 3 years but because I listened to this band so much, it feels like an eternity. You made me become a happier person than I ever was. Thank you so much Nightwish. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for each and everyone of you. Praying for you all and I hope that a new album can be expected in the future. I am patiently waiting. Good luck to the future and looking forward to more concerts.

This was the first song my friend showed me of Nightwish and finding it again nearly (or over, time has lost a bit of meaning as I've gotten older) 2 decades ago brought me to tears.

I see these photos and I realize what made me fall in love with you guys. For me, Nightwish has never been about singers, guitarists, drummers or song writers. Nightwish has a spirit, which is something most things lack in our world today. Members may come and go, and I will love all of them, as I love the spirit of Nightwish. Hoping for a grand concert one day, where we will see all the members of Nightwish, who have made that spirit what it is.

Tarja Turunen already sang that song on her tour along with Floor, both using their operatic tune. This time Floor was trying something different with Marco. So that has almost been a Marco song, as he leads the refrain all way through.

I was lucky enough to be at that show in Minneapolis (First Ave) after you guys met the Minnesota Wild and caught a game. I was not expecting a "Let's Go Wild!" chant at a Nightwish concert but Floor got one started! Fantastic show!

I recently fell in love with this song, and I CANT SKIP A SECOND because this is too epic! I also really love Jukka. I cant go to any shows, at least, until I am able to take myself to them. I would love to see Jukka in person, but my parents dont take me and my brother places often because we dont do anything. so... stuck in florida for a few more years as far as im aware. still, just seeing these videos make me happy. Jukka is the reason I decided to get my ears pierced soon(my plan is to have that done in october). I fangirl over Jukka so much my brother gets annoyed by my squeals. lol. I hope to go to a show eventually. my last few years told me that I don't belong here, in florida. the place is wonderful but the people are often rude and my school is extreamly strict. I cant stand the struggle to even look normal. I often feel much happier in my head and watching and listening to Nightwish. I am almost never outside of my own head. I love daydreaming and fangirling more than anything else. I did not mean to ramble on so much 😂. still. hope you all of Nightwish is doing well.
