Mine came with two screws ( kind of like a drywall screw) and the spacer that attaches very easily! Make your older cabinets work like expensive newer ones in minutes.

    I just installed these for all of my kitchen cabinets, and I'm glad I did. No more slamming cabinet doors! The biggest problem was that my drill (a DeWalt, like in the video) was just a little too wide to drill the pilot hole straight. Consequently, it goes in at a slight angle, just like in the video. Not a deal breaker, but it made me wonder what skinny drill the manufacturer had in mind when they were designing the soft-close hardware. I also used the spacers for most of the the cabinet doors. The smaller cabinet doors would not close properly with the spacers, so I just removed the spacers. The pistons are fairly strong, and I had to use the lowest setting on all of them. Many thanks to DIYAroundTheHome for making the video and saving me the effort of replacing all the hinges.!

    • @bill7320
      @bill7320 Před 3 lety +1

      As long as it's screwed in tightly, it will work fine. Its just unfortunate they didn't consider the size of the average drill when designing their product. In most cases it will be above your line of sight, though.
