@@lemondrops556 Nah, I think probably just used to store fat - also probably some muscle in there to sting more effectively. If the tails fell off like Leopard geckos they would be without their best defense.

Barbels. If you look at the SeaWing ref, they have small ones under their chins. But I like this artist’s liberties with them far better.

Don’t mind me, Curled up in the corner after working on this for god knows how many hours. I can’t imagine having made this a full animation - I have a great respect for animators after this. Thank you though, I’m very glad the work is well received :)
@@dragonsdoodles979 Oh my gosh yes, animation is an insane amount of work haha. But even so, you put so much detail into each scene, especially with drawing the background dragons - I can still see this must have taken ages!
Hehe I like clays design, and how you put the nostrils at the top of his face. I assume its because mudswings stay in mud all day, amd need to breath. I also like yo gecko tails to sandwings. And bat noses for nightwings.

some details i noticed
• clay's nostrils are very high, maybe because mudwings are often submerged in mud puddles, and maybe just the top of their head pokes out so they can breathe?
• starflight has a bat-like nose/snout
• glory looks a lot like a snake, with those little holes along snout (heat sensors i think) that snakes have. and also i like how you made her scales shift to an orange, it's like it's displaying her rage
• the sandwings (sunny and dune) have big leopard gecko-like tails, which is just adorable
• the seawings (tsunami and web) have tendrils hanging off their snout! im not sure if this is referencing a real animal but it's very cute and fitting either way. tsunami's tendrils seem to be longer, and have a little rhombus shape at the end, which may be because she's royal. the seawings' tails also have frilly fins, and to me they almost resemble little mermaid tails.

Tom was the hardest to place, so Starflight got stuck with it, sorry buddy. But thank you, Rainwings are snakes now, they got that venom and everything.

WHY DOES SUNNY HAVE A CHUNKY TAIL LIKE- AHHHHHHHHHHHAHSHDHHDHFGFHFGGGGHGHGHG (not hate just excitement)
I really like the designs for the tribes and characters! Especially Clay and his nose. A lot of people (including me rip) just give them bigger snouts but you gave him the real Mudwing nose and I ADORE it.
Mudwing noses have always been a little weird, how they stick out so sharply from the top of their snouts. My approach is a bit softer, a bit higher up, I like to think of Littlefoot from the land before time when drawing them!
You use viper pits on glory!!!! My own stories have rainforest dragons with pits like this so this was very exciting to see :)
Anyone gonna ask where Kestrel is in this?
