really great Kill Team content. As a rather newbie player this format is helpful in learning the ins-and-outs of the game. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic presentation and a really well played game! The Hive Fleet held up better than I expected, but bespoke teams gonna bespoke. Can't wait to see more games from you guys!

Hmm, you always know that if the Nob wants to use the Dynamite, the ork player must take the scouting option for changing the order. So you may always choose Fortify to gain initiative in the first round and try to counter the Dynamite strike - by for example shooting the Nob to at least make him injured or charging him and not fighting.

Yes, I was wondering that. Trying to play Kommandos myself, and I have heard of this strategy. But it seems very tricky. It cost 1 CP for forward deployment, then you have to use scouting to change the order, and then hope to get first initiative, and you might very likely lose your Nob in the first round by doing this. Is it really worth it?

It can be devastating amd even when it isn't it forces your opponent on the defensive. I like Kommandos and there are some things I take into consideration with this ploy.
-if I can, I take the Attacker. This way I can see how the entire enemy team deploys, with what orders and can put the dynamite Kommando where it's safe (for example all the opponents there are in Conceal). Also it lets me win ties on scouting options limiting the opponent to Fortify if he wants the initiative.
-sometimes you can out-bluff the opponent and just charge without changing the order, fight, engage some other models and keep the Dynamite for the next turn
-the free Dash for everyork TacPloy lets you redeploy the Dynamite guy slightly, to get better angles, be safe from a charge etc
-depending on terrain it can be a better idea to give the dynamite to the Breacha Boy and give him an extra APL. This is a more telegraphed move but often the opponent can't do anything to take out the Breacha Boy forward deployed behind a long wall

      @@robertchmielecki2580 That makes sense.
I have thought about using the Breacha Boy, but have been playing more ITD (like open better though). If you forward deploy the Breacha, then you need to play him within range of the Comms boy, I am guessing to give him en extra APL for turn 2 or turn 1, if you can change his order?

Yup, Comms Boy or the Nob.

I've found forward deploying a regular boy for dynamite strike. I feel the ability to give an extra APL, higher damage, and more wounds is better in the later TPs.

How is it allowed that kommandos free dash (strategic ploy) with snipa boy and dakka over terrain in turning point 1 ?

Are you talking about the them dashing through the door in the ork stronghold next to his deployment? - Blayne

So many misplays with the Hive Fleet :(
    Why no weapon beasts?
Why no retain extra def dice when you know you lost the ini vs. the dynamite?

1: I took what I had modeled for the sake of the video which did include one of them being a weapon beast warrior
2: That is a fair point and certainly a misplay
