The song credits order is irrelevant to who wrote the song....but on the contrary, he isn't listed as one of the song writers for this song at all so yeah he definitely didn't write this .

Bailey, when this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and in jail. Now I have a good job, a husband, and I’m healthy. This song and “Clover Cage - Miraculous” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know that things will get better. We are in this together. I love you ❤

This song really spoke to me, see I know this song is meant as a breakup song, but it spoke to me differently. My mom who means the world to me has believed in me religiously, she prays for me every night even when I make it hard for her to love me and care for me, she does, through every break up, every fight at school, she was in my corner 100%, she taught me to be a man and to respect women, she taught me to love, to pray, and to stand up for my family, she made it it along time before getting to me, she supported me in my decision to join the military even when it wasn't what she wanted for me, she supported me in my decision to marry young and even helped me pick out the ring, even though it wasn't what she wanted for me, my momma has truly always believed in me religiously, and this song really and truly makes me think about how hard it'll be when I do finally have to say goodbye for the last time, even as a breakup song, this song spoke to me a little differently

Discovered this song and it spoke to me as the woman who believed in a man religiously , but after four years of being walked on I’m finally leaving. One day I hope he hears this song and realizes what he lost .
I'm sure he will. My daughter is getting divorced after being married for almost 3 years. He thinks it's ok to cheat on her & talk to her like she's nothing. They have a 6 yr old son together. She does everything for my Grandson. Ironically he fell in February & broke his leg. Karma? I think so. She luckily makes enough money to pay her own bills..as he has contributed NOTHING in the last 6 mos..his son is now realizing something just isn't right. It breaks my heart that she's going through this. Bc despite her Dad & I marrying young, we ALWAYS remained friends & did what was best for her & her sister (my oldest one). God not only blessed me with my only son 10 years ago today actually. But he Blessed me with not 1 but 2 great men, that loved me like no other. Gil passed in 2011 from a Heart Attack at age 41. I was 35 then. I met my sons father in 2012, but didn't date him til 2013..& on 04/07/14 we had our son. He was due a day before my 38th bday. I'll be 48 end of this month. I honestly know that was my gift from God & him, to mend my broken heart 💔. I told my daughter, she will find someone else. She's still young..& he will regret this. She will find someone like I did..and he will love her like no other. My Bryan loves my 2 girls like they are his own. He's 40..but that's ok. I always joke that I'm the older and wiser one. Her divorce will be final this week. I told her, just keep pushing on. We will help her with whatever she needs..and she has her Father & her sister & Brother-in-law to help as well..and even her 10 yr old brother Jackson. She's only 25. I just wish I could take this all away. But I know she will be blessed with someone who loves her like she deserves. You will too ❤❤❤❤..I know this because I lived it myself. ❤

I know this is a breakup song but everyone sees songs differently. My grandma passed away 4 years and was the most religious woman I've ever come across, she had more faith in God than I ever could and I struggled with alot of depression at a very very young age. She never judged my scars she never was scared of me like everyone else was. She always told me, Give it to God honey. And because of her I have more faith then I ever did before. I wish she was here to see her granddaughter be a first time momma next year but I know she's watching over me ❤❤.
