We were together for 8 years, had a child. He's 2 now. We aren't together but live together (she cheated). It's been really hard for me lately. I'm mostly sure that I'm sick. The kind of sick you may not come back from. I'm scared I don't wanna leave my kid. I never wanted to lose her or us. I haven't told her or anyone else. I know people listen to this song and think about a girlfriend or boyfriend they lost but for me, I think of my mama. I lost her December 29, 2021 suddenly and she was my go to person for everything. I didn’t talk about my struggles to anyone else. Only she understood. So, now I’m in this universe that doesn’t even feel like real life and I’m praying to god to give me my mom back because she was the only person there for me religiously. “Now I’m in this cold bright light and this doesn’t feel like life because I don’t have the ONLY woman who believed in me religiously”😢
