That i mainly hid from everyone. That way no one knew how much I could consume. Nor would I have to share it. [ true sign of an alcoholic] I hope you and your mother made it out safely.

Man I’ve been going through a hard patch with my wife these past few years. This song for me at least called me out on my BS and put it in a perspective of what it could be like without her in my life. Don’t ever want to match up exactly to these lyrics. Sometimes God puts it in perspective for you to avoid a lonely road..

I was this woman to a man. 13 years I believed in him. No matter how many drugs, drunken nights, arrests …I was by his side. I would have stood by him till my death but all he ever did was push me away. To the point where I had to just give him what he wanted. It absolutely almost killed me. It’s been months and not a second goes by I don’t think about him or us. He shared this song today. Knowing he knows I would’ve took a bullet for him but he still didn’t love me enough to stop doing the bad things he does still breaks my heart 💔

I did this to my "wife" for years, she finally had it and kicked me out, after drinking causing me seizures I decided to go get help again. I eneded up falling for a girl inside the facility and chose her over my love of my life, well she ended up doing the same to me for 6 months, I couldn't handle it. I tried everything in my power to help her, I was the only person who tried. I had to let go tho, I now know the hell I put people through.
I feel you, I was this woman as well. Sure he didn’t do drugs or alcohol, but he was into self harm and self destructive behavior. I finally told him I had enough and stopped talking to him. Today he sent me this song.

I can totally relate, I was with a man who struggled with alcohol and I had encouraged him to get help many times, but down boundaries and he started hiding it. We got engaged and 6 months in to planning our wedding he broke things off because alcohol was more important. 3 days later he tried begging for me back. (This was not the first time he did this but it was the last.) I had to finally say no. No more to breaking my heart. But that didn't fix my heart either 😢

I was on Instagram and he posted this song to his story and it made me realize how much I miss him and how I can't live without him. This song means so much to me as I’ve been having a hard summer 😢my boyfriend was back on drugs and then he went back to jail and I am praying he can get it together it has been mentally hard I love him so much when we are together I look past everything I don’t understand how these drugs have ruined his beautiful life I am praying he can go to treatment I told him I want to support him and be there for me he is the love of my life and my best friend ❤I feel I have seen him at his worst and his best I feel I can handle everything I just hope I can have a chance I know people change and I am trying so hard to be there during the recovery I have started going to Al Non meeting’s I feel I need help I have never done drugs so I don’t understand why there so addicting I guess the way they make you feel I am praying every day to God to help me stay strong and to keep guiding the both of us ❤
