- Song made from spoons, forks, kitchen sink, freezer air, chair and other household items. Anything can be an instrument if you want it to be, and anything can become a song. All you gotta do is listen for the sounds around you.

This is great! Love all the nuances and how it all blends well together. Back when I was in college and taking a music appreciation class, I learned about the late, great composer, John Cage, and his unorthodox use of sounds and instruments and silence. Lately, I've been wanting to create something that would use a combination of real instruments + household sounds, but this is definitely more bold than what I've been thinking about.

This is awesome. I've got a February Album Writing Month (FAWM) Collab I was going to do along similar but sillier lines but have so far quailed because it is one take at my skill/editing level and that's different to just tapping stuff out when I am sat at my kitchen table! I'm glad I found this.
Thanks a bunch. It's definitely hard to put it all together. I think I was using davinci resolve, which is free and powerful if you do decide to give it a shot.
I'd definiyely recommend trying it, even if you never show it to anyone else, cuz you will get good experience at all the different steps.
One thing that might be cool for a one shot take is having 2 cameras set up at different angles so you can have motion in the video. Good luck!

we are doing this for a project but it has to sound like it belongs to medieval times.... HALP TvT
I'd try to find the low notes out of materials for the rhythm and create a simple melody that you could play on maybe a sword or something hard. You could probably get some galloping sound or hammer something metal to sound like a blacksmith to get a little extra motion for it

I recorded them into pro tools and mixed them together for the beat. You really just need some type of microphone and any recording software
