Would also highly recommend the Doomo Meter D as someone who has owned both, unless you are someone that likes the digital screen. One downside of the Keks that I don't see discussed is that there are SO many shutter speeds/etc in there that it slows the experience down for film cameras that do not have most of the shutter speeds (as you see around 2:24 where Matt needs to click like 9 times just to go from a reading at 5.6 to f/2) Would be great to see keks release some kind of optional firmware or menu setting on the device to allow you to only select shutter speeds available on your camera so you don't have to click 10-15 times when going from a bright scene to a dark scene. I found while using this I ended up just guessing my exposure most of the time as I would lose the shot otherwise if I took the time to cycle through all the meter settings if I walked around a corner from a bright exposure to a darker one.

Video colours look nice! Interesting that your reference is the M6 and you rate the external meter ‘spot on’ or ‘half a stop off’. Where it could be the other way around as well. There is no way of knowing.. Regards from Holland, where the spring light is just right, and blue skies without contrails. Probably the only thing we’re going to miss when things are back to how it used to be.

It would be interesting to see the KEKS accuracy compared to a meter app on a phone and the dedicated metered prism of a camera like the Pentax 67.

Matt do you think this thing mounted sideways on a TLR would be accurate? Or does the operation require it to be mounted horizontal (guessing it depends on what exactly the field of view on the spot meter is and whether it's circular)? TLR hotshoes are obviously not directly over the lens but on the side of the camera.

I find the keks meter much less useful than the Reveni meter. The readout is incredibly small and very hard to read in bright light. I had to build a shade so that I can see the readouts in bright sun. I don't have this same problem with the two reveni meters that I have (their readout is bigger). The "smart" readout does nothing to really improve this. I use it only because at over $100 it is too much money to throw away. I would, however, not recommend this meter to anyone. Perhaps the EM02 is better in this regard.
