I hope you have a mother in law room ready for Eddie when he comes to visit 😀
Have you ever seen Eddie in Brians gym?
That poor grandma!
Just had to mention that pain in the ass didn't ya. LoL
Woo Eddie is amazing
Eddie isn't coming..he is never hydrated enough... 😂
I think Brian is more into architecture than strength training at this point.
lol
CAREFUL BRIAN! IT'S ABOUT DRIVE IT'S ABOUT POWER! WE STAY HUNGRY WE DEVOUR! 💪 ATTACK THIS TRAINING LEADING UP TO WSM
Lol
You don't understand these sort of game untill the unless you invest on something.....
Buildings don't Building themselves and ig your supposed to ignore the fact your Building a yuge 7 figure gym
Looking good Brian. Surprised by how small it is though... 😜
I also thought it looked small, maybe it's how the video is filmed
It's weird the cars are using Brian's door to enter, figured he'd have a garage door for them
@@Lumdm1 He's being sarcastic........
Tour this ish
ok skinny
Brian and Juji’s gym build wars would make a great show
I swear this guy is always building a gym when i see his videos
hahaha, it's like cribs, but instead of different guests and different homes, it's brian in his many gyms
Great progress update Brian. For the concrete, if you can ensure that the building is completely dried in, and I would say insulated, controlling the temperature of the concrete on the day of the pour shouldn’t be as big of a factor with regard to the weather. Make absolutely sure your contractor uses a vibratory roller on the dirt and gets at least 95% compaction on the dirt before pouring concrete. It adds structural rigidity to the concrete.
you know your stuff
Very well said. I have poured Concrete, and gypsum concrete for many many years and you sir are on point! Props
@@charlesyaryan6619 I'm sure Brian has this well handled, however, he does have the advantage of having viewers with experience in areas that can benefit him. He probably has good contractor if they're moving that quickly on the warehouse, so hopefully this won't be an issue. I once saw a large piece of equipment and its foundation sink into the ground once it was running because a geotechnical report was not followed and the back filled dirt wasn't compacted. It all had to be torn out and redone at twice the cost (ouch!).
I don’t know anything about this but is there a reason they wouldn’t pour a concrete pad before the building?
@@jimmys7985 There are a lot of different ways to erect a building. In this case the structure was anchored directly into the ground to a specified depth (depending on ASCE-7 wind loads for CO - probably 120 or 150mph) and anchored with a specified concrete (e.g. 3000psi). What you are describing to erect a structure for a building that size and weight on a foundation requires a concrete footer running the building's perimeter and then the floor poured on top. For that type, the structure would be anchored on top of the footer. That is a really common construction method as well, but given the time of year (winter) and frost depth I could see why they'd set the poles directly . The trench to be dug for a footer on a building that size would be a couple feet deep and with the cold temps this time of year the ground would freeze - preventing concrete pour. Concrete creates and exothermic reaction (i.e. produces its own heat) but has an ideal temperature range where it can be poured (e.g. 45-90 degrees F depending the type). Going the way they're going, Brian's warehouse will be at least mostly dried in from the weather, which will keep the ground inside the building from freezing, so pouring concrete will be easier. Ideally, if they got a break in the weather and it were above freezing on the day of the pour, they'd have ideal conditions inside the building. Sorry for "nerding" out on this stuff. I love building things, lifting weights and wishing I could deadlift half of what Brian can.
So happy for you Brian, Ambassador of the sport and soon to be taking over The Arnold Classic as the 2nd most prestigious strongman competition with the Shaw Classic! Major supporter right here!
Arnold>WSM
Arnold, Shaw Classic, and the Rouge Invitational feel like athletic comps. WSM organizers pretty much just want to make it like a novelty show not a sporting event.
Really hoping that the Shaw Classic and the Rouge strongman Invitational become regular fixtures for years to come.
For the bathroom we will be adding an industrial exhaust fan... especially for Eddie when he visits.
I’m in shock how much work was done.. really top notch construction crew
Brian and Juji gonna have connecting gyms at the rate they keep building new ones
Bruji gyms across Merica
"On this machine, we're using two Ford F-150 Raptors as plates, I think they're about 22,000 pounds each, really excited to get busy on this and put out some reps, you know, see how many Raptors we can get on each side of the bicep curl machine." - my imagination before clicking
You're the best, Brian :) Always wishing you and yours the best 💪🏼
Juji: I have the best home gym
Brian: Hold my beer
Love this new building series!
I love the updates, man. Such a cool project you have here.
Brian is such a breathe of fresh air! Such a smiley, humble mountain of a bloke. Congratulations on the new gym mate! I am sure its going to be THE absolute monster workout haven!
Hey Brian couldn’t be happier for you looks amazing love the updates keep it up
So much room for activity's :)
Looks amazing cant wait till its finished and full of equipment. Have to say watched you for years since you were first on WSM and just amazing to see how all your hard work has paid off.
Have we just become best friends 😂😂😂
Be sure to rockwool the entire "studio" area for nose abatement. Extra layers of drywall and green acoustic sealant will be really helpful in keeping isolation.
Nice place Brian!
So Brian now has a Gym that's as big as a normal home gym - relative to his size.
Good for him!
Now he’s got a home gym that’s as big as a normal home
he builds all these gyms but still opts for normal sized doors to bump into...
@@wheelmanstan I think that was like one of the front door size doors, because he didn't hit his head.
Love Brian. Such An Honest And Humble Man!!
You should name your new gym “The Shawstrength Redemption”!
sounds cool
You mentioned using the patio area as a staging location for drop-offs and pick-ups. I don't know the interior layout, so take this with a grain of salt. It may be worthwhile to add a door going from the covered area directly into your office area, assuming the other side goes into your stock room. This gives you a very direct path of travel when processing inbound and outbound. It may seem unnecessary because of the other doors currently present, but it's a small efficiency that'll help a lot in the day to day activity.
It looks like it might lead to a "front desk" type area. I'm assuming the double doors are the doors to the patio tho...i could be wrong on that tho
Well thought out! Looks like a great ride and nice long term potential. All the best!
I've been waiting for this video for two weeks. I love all shows about buildings and construction. Soon as this series started I couldn't wait for the next episode each time!
Very happy for you and your family. You guys desearve it!
Badass man been watching you for years glad you can finally have your dream space coming together nicely
This is awesome bro! Im excited for you!
Looks awesome cant wait to see it finished !!!!!!!!!
So happy for you Brian, congratulations
Brian: I'm thinking about the gym layout.
Translation: I'm thinking about all the new equipment I'm going to buy.
Or Rouge is going to donate
Congrats Brian!!
It’s definitely coming along!
Thanks for sharing Brian. This was interesting.
Glad you branched out doing your thing. Gym looks awesome!
Can’t wait to see how it turns out
Hi Brian...A big man a big building!... It looks great & can't wait for it t be finished!... Take care!
Let’s Go SHAW 2022!!

Love you Brian ❤️
That building is looking Shaw-big!
Brian we are so proud of
your accomplishments an
success and the Gym/
Warehouse is looking
Great. Love your videos
and we are praying for
good weather for you.
Let’s goooo!!! Love you Brian!
Can't wait for this gym to be done.. Superstars from strongman will be coming in to work out and run a podcast.. soo cool!
I think this is easily the biggest home gym in the world. I really don’t think anyone else would be this insane.. his previous gym was easily already the biggest home gym ever and this looks way bigger
Things are coming along quite nicely... That facility is going to be awesome once completed.
It looks awesome Brian 👌 👊👍
love you brian
If I ever open my own gym I’m consulting with you Brian!! 🇺🇸👍🏽🇺🇸
I love Colorado just took a trip there the mountains were amazing
Very impressive carpentry work!
it does take a lot of work. step by step baby and you'll be there so soon. nice work.
Beautiful scenery
Damn y’all are making fast progress
looking good, love that there isn't any intermediate columns
So happy for him. This is a major goal accomplishment.
I’m just here for Brian to say he’s Excited! Looks great 👍🏻
Really cool stuff dude
Home gyms are the best. Once I go pro (or earlier if I win the lottery) I'm gonna have a gym built onto the home I buy out in the middle of nowhere. Indoor pool, a variety of punching bags/ grappling dummies and all of the weights and machines I want. Working out at home is always my favorite. I can't wait to see the gym when it's finished!
I find the amount of concrete you use for building is just... mindblowing!
(watching from europe)
For the podcast room walls, opposite of where you're sitting. Producers choice sound blankets. Movie sets use them. Their awesome.
Looking good Brian best of luck💪🏻🇺🇸🇮🇪
holy shit!
What a cool idea Brian
Good job Brian. I am a huge fan of your dude stay blessed and happy with your family and I wish that you win the next WSM and arnold classic too. You can add dried prunes in your diet too :)
As a UPS driver, in Colorado, thank you for the covered area….. build is coming along nice.
Must be a dream come true for you Brian. Great job brother I’m proud of you.
The gym wars between you and juji are heating up 💪
Brian, you should paint SHAW and your Logo really big on the top of that building, like on either side. that would be cool oh and the advertising!!!!!!
I could watch a two hour review of Brian eating cereal and enjoy it. Dudes just a vibe to listen too
Mondo congrats, man!
Brian always rocking the coolest sunglasses, we need some Brian shaw shades!
Seeing that gym space, I can't help but think about Drago in Rocky 4 working out in the middle of his gym, then running the track around the perimeter of the gym with the rocky music in the background from that movie.
Looking good!
Awesome as Always!
Weird see the building done before the slab. this a northern thing for sure! Its looks amazing so far
You guys pour slabs before the building is done? We usually build the foundations and superstructure first so we can weatherproof and sometimes trap heat.
Everything is going really well for you guys. Cant wait for "We've expanded again. New gym/warehouse summertime build pt. 1" 👍
I tell you what. Normally I could care less about meeting someone famous, (yes I would consider you famous) but I do hope to run into one day just to say hi and shake your hand. Your positive attitude and personality are contagious. It’s been a pleasure to watch you and your family grow over the years through your videos. -Ed
Badass spot
love that you and Juji are just throwing up buildings
Every weight lifters dream to buy or make their own gym. Absolutely killing it Brian, fair to say your hard work is paying off! 👏
Im an amateur but It's not my dream. I prefer to work out in public gym, the atmosphere makes it more fun to exercise. It's so empty in private gym
God bless you Brian😙💪
Super Brian, enjoy sir😊😊
Make sure no wood goes directly into the ground, it will rot and collapse. Other than that - it looks amazing. Congratulations!
The ultimate Shaw Classic challenge event...heavy bag toss up and over to the other side of the new gym !!
That is going to be an outstanding gym
Brian just building his home gym bigger than my cities planet fitness
this is a gym warehouse, so basically each week brian will be building a new normal sized home gyms inside it, he'll have about 52 gyms, a years worth, inside this one when he's done, then he'll rent it out to 52 people that want to get swole
Should run in floor heating in that thing! Goes in during concrete install
So awesome!
Why isn’t the ceiling higher for keg throws?
Brian such a White Knight character 💪
Being a framer in Florida seeing a building being made in a different state is interesting the differences between the buildings
I live in Colorado and I am soooo confused why they didn't build the cement base first. Could you please explain 😭 if not you than Brian please I need answers!!
@@TheCheezburqer exactly in Florida concrete foundation poured first the walls would be prefabricated concrete here because must withstand hurricane 🌀 not sure about Colorado but you would think it would be easier to pour the concrete slab first
@@biglala32 thats how its made everyhere, here in europe too.. like seriously, this building is like glued some wood sticks together and put on the ground
I was also wondering this is as well
@@biglala32 Most warehouse type buildings are built with concrete walls here. I live near the Denver area, I have no idea where he's building in CO, but I think it would be more substantial to have more support out in the middle of nowhere. Maybe a budget thing?
I'm also confused as to why they didn't build the inner wall along with the frame of the building??? Just seems like harder work to me... I know nothing about construction tho just a curious person haha
Awesome!
pool table, dance floor, hot tub etc! you got the room.
brian needs a building this big just for all his excitement
This literally makes me want to move to Colorado just to train there.
Home Gym which is BIGGER than your home !! 👍💪 yeah buddy
But it looks great good job can't wait to see it
When I feel down I come to watch Big Bear Brian Shaw, the GOAT of WSM
