Brian, in 6 months: Welcome to our new property. We outgrew the new warehouse gym we just built in just 3 days. So, we're working on renovating a new property we just bought. As you can see, we're in a cave because we bought the Cheyenne Mountain complex from the US military and those nuclear blast doors will be part of my new training regiment.
Brian in one year. "Welcome to the old Dallas National Airport. We bought it and have gutted it and will renovate it to be my new gym in 3 months!"
"As part of my training for the Hercules hold, I've attached massive chains to the doors and I'll be holding them closed as they try to open"

Congratulations Brian! I look forward to seeing further evolution as the structure progresses from imagination to reality. As you were discussing the gym area, I couldn't help but think about the possibility of there being on one or two of the outside walls a second level area so that there is room for gym equipment on two floors and space in the middle for large room activities that would not be available if it were all taken with gym equipment.
Brian Shaw is probably my biggest inspiration for starting weightlifting. He caries himself very well and has a positive outlook on his training, competing, and overall life. Thanks for the inspiration that you give to many young people like myself.

Hey Brian just a heads up, get rid of that straw grass at least 200ft from your new building. They donât do very well putting out grass fires out there, especially with wind! Wouldnât wait new construction burns too! Want to be able to watch this as it grows. Keep being Great!

You will have to put up a basketball hoop in the wearhouse since you will have the height to do so. Since you are building a commercial wearhouse you should seriously consider putting in a loading dock. I am surprised you are not making the gym side larger so you have the room to have all of your specialized strongman equipment & room to use it inside your home gym.

Love the pole construction, makes a nice building that goes together quickly. Radiant heat in the floor will be nice.
Is this a common way to build(never seen anything like this in my area)? I assume they come in afterwards and pour concrete that enveloppes the posts?

Make sure you beef up foundation and walls from the start so that in the future if you want to (pop the top) and add another level the structure is there. Big mistake I see sometimes is not thinking ahead on new construction.
