Been running Cordex 600 the last several years. Been a horrendously dry spring/summer here in Oregon this year. My new 340 Plus would knock out a few 13-1400 pounders of tall fescue before noon every day but would level out down to 1180 average by the end of the day.
They are bad to the bone, that’s why I like bridon twine though I don’t have to spend that extra money on higher knot strength twine 440 bridon is like everyone else’s 550 twine in my experience. I will honestly say the PXL is the next closest that I have tried, but not nearly as good as bridon. I’ve tested, Tytan, PXL and a few others just to try and have not been impressed. Most will work in alfalfa but, usually other brands besides bridon you have to run a 550+ twine to not have tension breaks in grass and grain. In my experience.
Good maintenance of the knotters, good twine, good connection knots = no misties
So do you like the PXL twine? haha I would like to have about 30 of those squares for my cows. How I would handle them I am not sure. I use round.
No I don’t like PXL Back to bridon now
What Briton are u runnin in my area lots of salesmen sell “twine made by Bridon” gets confusing.
It’s bridon
