Had a new Hollander rollabelt round baler….never ever again.
When you say, for example 100 units of N2, if using Urea which is close to 50% N2/lb Urea-you're actually putting on about 200 lbs of Urea mix?

Very nice!
Who sells derby Timothy?

I still haven’t figured it out I’m thinking the fan motor took a shit on that setting we tried putting a new switch control panel in and it didn’t work
Miss your videos man. Make some more
Have you had any clearance issues between the packer forks and the stuffer ? I had my stuffer get bent up and my local NH dealer did all the repairs although now my stuffer to packer forks are rubbing with the stuffer at home position. any clues ? NH dealer believes they may have used the wrong stuffer since machine is a 2013 they think I’m may take a BB9080 Stuffer I’ve only got about 300 bales on machine since repairs and Stuffer has once again crashed.
I am growing Timothy grass in Maine for the first time for my rabbits...at what height should the grass be when cutting for the first time? Thanks.

Looks good! How would I get in touch with you to talk about your hay crop?
What are you wanting to knwo
@@SuperFriday88 Wanted to tell you about a hay conditioner product that improves hay quality and manageability. It's pretty neat.
@@WyattDeWitt-mh5mj not interested, I know lots of people that put products on with there swather and none of them like it
I wish you showed the taking apart. Thanks for the video
What part of northern nv are you in?
They sell oil pans where that hole is WELDED. It will never leak.
Dude, just found yer channel, Dunno shit about farming... but I do know yer a great presenter about what is great about CZcams. Hope ya do a video of yer trucks as I am a huge truck nerd. That cabover I see in the background is bitchin. Yer enthusiasm is contagious! Cheers from Santa Cruz and hope ya get back on CZcams
2x stacked 2x4 are 4" tall on the flat
you have to keep the shock hubs in time on assembly, you also can flip the turtles and get twice the life.
new turbo is a beaut! Did you Sell the turbo you took off?
Yes I did
We big sq pasture grass here in sw wis Watching your operation what keeps you from a 4 by4 bale
Can’t get a full truck load and export presses don’t like them
Do you ever pull the drill behind the cultimulcher? I’ve got a brillion 30 footer but think it’s to light to pull a grain drill, that thing looks way stouter and Better built
Got the same headlights 👍🏻
Trying to locate the thermostat in a 260 Versatile, I believe it under the top radiator hose . This unit is overheating.
I’m so sick of mine the Cummins engine is a complete pile of shit in my 280 and my 360 the rest of the machine as alright but the engine is nothing but problems
@@SuperFriday88 It was easier getting information to work on the Block 60 F-16's then these. Seems like everything is top secret. We just had issues with the from pin shearing a bolt and moving aft into the steering arm. Unit was over heating, I just gutted the Thermostat, and now it runs below the Cold mark on the gauge. Arizona you don't need a thermostat here. It runs with some EGR code.I did not have any luck clearing it. Has plenty of power, so the computer is not affecting the engine output. Just think in Arizona your engine is preheated to the point you can not work on it until the outside temps go below 95 degrees which is about midnight. This heat sucks.
Классно мой друг🙂💓🍓🍓🍓🍒🍇🍉🍋 От меня огромная поддержка, мира и добра👉👍👍👍👈👉🤝💥💥💥💫🤗46
How'd you jack the engine up?
Block of wood off the balancer
He dont hate the baler, he hates the pickup
I hope the improvements made propel it past the old 260's. We purchased a Speed Rower 260 4 years ago. It has been the most disappointing new equipment purchase I have ever made. We run it in conjunction with three old school H8080's that slap it in the face and leave it in the dust. Our dealer in the first year of purchase comped us close to 250 gallons of Hydraulic fluid due to hydraulic lines splitting on the welds, O rings failing due to excessive vibrations and lack of line anchoring, and hydraulic drive motor failure. The relief pressure on the hydro is set way to low and will not pull hills here in the Palouse. Its as if they took all the rejected parts from the combine factory and committed them to the swather line. The only only positive to these machines are still the headers. Operators prefer to run the 8080's from a maneuverability, control, and power stand point. So much in fact we have started replacing wore out headers with new 416 plus headers. We have tried to demo a New 260 plus from our local dealer but the will not commit to a demo with out a signed PO. The local Deere dealer has brought us out their comparable machine three years running in attempts to get us to go green on our windrowers. Their cab and horsepower to the ground, and over all craftsmanship are incredible. If it wasn't for the engineering in the header, and the piss poor handling, we might being persuaded to switch. That being said, until we can actually sit in the seat and operate one of the Plus models, we will just keep refitting 8080's with new headers.
I hate the original 220s 240s and 260s this is a major massive light year’s improvement over them piles of shit
I have a brand new 340 plus with 6k bales on it and them arms your grabbing are hitting
Hitting what
We have an H8080 with the Durabine 416 header on it. Just got the B&D Crushers for it. Did you put the balanced roller on the top or bottom of your H8080? I imagine the balanced roll would attach to the main drive line that is directly connected to the belt and chain.
Don’t matter they both are balanced
You ar from
Have you ever broadcast Timothy seed or orchard grass into stubble and rolled it in with the cultipacker?
Yes it works awesome
Thanks for the input!
You make some great videos with a ton of info, hope you can make more
The opinion of one lonely farmer means absolutely nothing
Do you do both dry and liquid fert on this ? Or all liquid thro fertigation
All liquid besides my elemental sulphur
Tiger 90? And how many units of nitrogen per cutting,
@@DD-rq5wl whatever simplot get here they get some tiger sul and some from Montana both do the same, we are usually around 160 units if nitrogen, and 80 units of phosphorus and probably 40 units of thiosul per year and then a couple gallons per acre of humic acid on my Timothy
Hey man! This is kolby with simplot in Ashton Idaho. Was this some of the stuff we sprayed this year? Let us know how it turns out through the year! Maybe next year when we come down I’ll have to snag an FCH hat from ya.
Yes it is this was last year but yes you sprayed it this year!!
#4 soil testing for fertility.
We don’t really do soil sampling we did at first but we designed a program that works and uses different things than soil samples call for and produces better. Rotating crops and what not is a huge key
good video just putting a new harvest tec system on my new 330 plus . do you have contact info on the preservative you use
Wish I would've known this a few years back....we pulled the engine, hardest job ever
How was quality the first year? What month did you plant it?
Planted in april
Do you get paid to promote NH lol
No
Kickin a$$ and takin names!!!
very informative
What Briton are u runnin in my area lots of salesmen sell “twine made by Bridon” gets confusing.
It’s bridon
What’s the top travel speed, I’m thinking down a highway for transport with zero load
70mph
Yeah, I don’t know how, and I don’t want to know how to do that.
I run 2 of the 3 pump units and I agree with your comments on the pumps getting dust in them. The biggest problem I have with mine are the diaphragm check valves on the nozzles becoming plugged and they won't open to spray when the pumps kick on. Is the new system running the same diaphragm valve on the nozzle body?
No they are running solenoids
Don't bother watching this video he has no clue
another solid video. Thanks for sharing. Your PM program is second to none. Very impressive!
Thanks for sharing. Your video is well done with no embellishments unlike some of the competitive owners you mentioned.
Thank you for sharing your point of view on the systems, not a lot of people run the hay preservative in my area and was afraid of using it on the hay and then having a lot of unhappy customers. All the factory reps would tell me that it was all good and you will have no problem. Thank you for your input and I think I will look at doing it like you are and get it for the hay moisture meter and to race the weather when the hay is one day from baling hay the weather man pulls 3 in of rain out of his ass, 3 days after it was only to be .3 in at 30% and 0% at 5 days. Thank you
Absolutely it’s a great insurance blanket for that for sure
You sure are an expert on Massey/Hesston balers for never even owning one. Used resale values are a huge indicator on the quality of a product.
Been around them my whole life.. know lots about them lol worked on them ran them. For years they were the best baler reliability wise but not anymore. The 340 plus left them in the rear view. On the flip side new holland has always made a superior bale out of every baler on the market.
Still can’t argue with the simplicity and ease of operation on a Hesston! Plus maintenance cost- does it even exist, barely!
Gearboxes are less maintenance than chains and half the manual grease zerks as well on a new holland. Massey is definitely second easiest to maintain big NH wins the title of simplicity and ease of maintenance
It’s a lot like johndeere offering a twin rotor combine 😂
