Oh Jes you are hilarious...your story on being a lawyer or doctor. You are a smart girl and your are doing what God has created you to do! What a blessing you are. You may not know it but you are reaching many with your faith and witness to Jesus' love!!!
"I feel like I"m doing surgery or something, some important sugery. It makes me feel like I have a smart job." LOVE THIS GIRL!! Love all your movies Jes. Thank you for sharing all you do.
You are so fun to hang out with…”the girl next door” kinda gal.❤ So envious that you can be out in your yard in full sun & not break a sweat. I’m here in middle GA & at 10am it was 85 & super humid since we FINALLY got some rain last night. You may have a short growing season but it’s a season you can be outside slot more than we can here in the south. (I’m indoors in the air conditioning at noon.!😂)
@@lindylou3519I'm with you. I live in Central Florida and by 8am it's already 90° with 90% humidity, ugh. I sweat just walking outside it's so bad. We have a longer gardening season but not really because we can't be outside much in July and August. Plus we don't get the gardening sales here, I'm always so jealous of deals those up north get, lol. I too am back in the a/c very early.
For your areas that retain too much moisture, you can plant Hardy Hibiscus like the Holy Grail that you have. They are technically a bog plant and like to grow in boggy marshy conditions. So that will work out well in that space where the heucheras struggle. Come varieties that I have in my garden are Candy Crush, Spinderella, Evening Rose.👍🏼
Girl you can sing & that’s a God-given talent. You may end up making more money than a dr or lawyer & it will be alot more fun & you can touch so many people with music.❤
I've been watching your videos for a month now, and decided, to subscribed to your channel... We have allot in common. I'm a Christian, and I love flowers.. You bought some good deals...
Lowe’s is about the only place around here that puts stuff on sale. For some reason our Home Depot would rather throw them away than put them on sale. Anyways everything looks beautiful as usual.
My HD doesn’t own the plants , a company called Hopewell brings the plants in my neck of the woods (Massachusetts)and yes they throw a lot away , it’s really sad , people would gladly pay a couple of dollars and take them home to enjoy for years
You got that right. (GA zone 8b) Our Home Depot here doesn’t even have clearance…only Lowes & as hot & dry as it’s been, you wouldn’t want anything on the clearance racks. lol)
The planta in the planters become "leggy" etc. because they are completely root bound and have those horrible plastic bottom pieces they put in the pots. (S9 that they don't have to water as much) You have given them new, glorious life!!❤❤
You are like a “Mad Scientist “!! You have the most Beautiful yard!! You know what will grow where, and then you are always experimenting with what will grow where and the color combinations you put together!!!! Some event centers don’t have the beauty you have
"...and whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord..." You are such a gem. You never fail to bring a smile to my heart! You are doing the most important work.❤
Good score on plants and pots. Love the white ones. And you can paint the gray ones of you'd like a different color. Those begonias can be Wintered over in your basement. So that's a good investment. They will love that dappled shade too. You done good girl. 😊
Feel very happy to see what you share. Very interesting and very special to me. I was so amazed that I wanted to watch it until the end. 🌼🌼🌼🌼Best wishes to you, may you always have health and happiness
I’m still planting as well. I’m zone 4b , I live near a border town right by Maine. I’m excited because I got an invincible Ruby hydrangea for ten dollars because it had broke. It was still giving new growth and has plenty of roots. I also got some garua that is still blossoming 😊 Thanks for the inspirations in many ways, that you bestow on us 😊
Thanks Jes, for the movie 🎬 wow you found a great deal. I'm going to have to go to my Home Depot that was fantastic. Such nice planters as well as the flowers. Looks great in your garden as always😊❤ love your movies, love you, I look forward to your movies so much. You are my favorite gardener 😊❤ God's blessings Jes, 😊❤
I haven't been able to do a whole lot in my garden this summer. So hot and humid. I love seeing you find clearance plants and pots and adding them to your garden. Wow what a deal. They look amazing in your garden 🤗💓💕💞
So nice you got a lot out of those clearance plants and lucky you with all the rain, can’t wait to see what you find for the problem area where there is too much water
Hi Jes I love your movies, feels like home ❤️ I am thinking you could plant some weeping willow in the moist soil area 😊 Have a wonderful day! And thanks for sharing your movies 😊🌞🌱🌸
I went to the half price sale at our local garden center and purchased a hydrangea and two hostas. The outdoor ceramic pots were 70% off and I bought one of those as well. I plan to go back this weekend and use my coupon. You made some great purchases and everything looks so happy with all of the rain. As long as weather permits, I continue to plant.
Jes, you placed all of your new flowers so beautifully. They are going to be so happy and thrive their little hearts out❣️❣️ AMEN, you have created a new Garden of Eden❣️❣️
Jes, if you find Summerific hibiscus in Valentines Crush or Cookies and Cream, grab it! They'll do great in full sun and wet soil! Perfect for your lollipop lane!
Hi Jes, just watched show on your brother working to make your arbor. Boy that was hard work but what a beautiful arbor. And finding the log that had curve to go in between the arbor , just makes it, ooks so good. I was thinking hes doing all that hard work, carrying the heavy logs, digging, where's Nate ? Than I heard you say you called him over go help. He ever looks the most enthused with your projects. You're lucky go have such talented helpful brothers.
Areas that hold alot of water are beautiful with small berms of dirt to raise the plants up also make the landscape beautiful. Your yard is beautiful!❤ I enjoy watching you plant. You are a very down to earth gardener.😊
I would have bought the planters too , if just for the pot . The Begonia is gorgeous . I recently found PW Baptisia at HD and also PW Boom Chocolata Geraniums, $ 4.00 each
Wow nice I just bought smaller ones for $6 and hydrangeas for $10 and 8 I luv your deck basket I did purchase two of them hoping I can divide a pot of begonias and inpatients to put in them
Hi Jes🌺 . You arranged these plants beautifully in your garden and they look so pretty and you can aad more impatins plants or you can add the pretty supertunias to your garden . Have a wonderful day .🌺🌻🌺
Love clearance plants! Thinking of your garden that floods, Iceberg Alley Sageleaf Willow is a great shrub for wet areas. They add a beautiful silver color to the landscape and love tons of moisture. They don't get enormous and take well to pruning. I have one that is loving the insane amount of rain we have this summer in Minnesota. 😊
Jes: Proven winners hardy hibiscus, summerific series love lots of water. I have one planted in a boggy area and it does beautifully! You might try some of those in that wet area🤷♂️❤️
I’m so envious of your plant haul. You scored! HD in Northern CA does not do discount racks. On a rare occasion, a few plants may have a small discount. Love your property and gardens. ❤
Hey Jess think about Chelone "turtlehead plant" which flowers end of summer and Leucothoe which is evergreen with great red fall color for your wet spots.
Hi Jes. Clearance plants that still look good is always a win!! I asked this one time before, I hope you get to see this, what is the name of the Hosta you planted the pink begonias next to? The ones in the front of the wood pile? Thanks for taking time from your lunch break to share with all of us the beauty you continually create! I love it! 😊♥️
Jes, do you have any of those gorgeous Purple Iris in the Lane? If not, I think those really like wet areas, I've seen them planted along creeks and such. You really impress me with the deals you find on plants, way to go on the $4 planters!!!
Jes you are the sweetest ray of sunshine. I look forward to your movies, seeing your family and your incredible faith. I live in Australia in an apartment so I am not blessed with a garden but I love to grow flowers on my balcony. Your joy of gardening is so inspirational.
How are the hanging baskets doing 🌿🏵️🌿 can we have an update 🏵️🏵️🏵️ I'm in UK I bought 40 lobelia plants for £2 last week at BNQ - they were looking very bedraggled I potted them on and gave them a good watering 🌿 well it's been raining a lot here anyway 🙄🥴 they're doing okay I think I lost 4 or 5 of them 🌿

Amen to that. ❤

Well, well, is there a doctor in the house??? Loved your surgery performance ! Dr. Jes… kinda has a nice ring to it!
Lol
That is an insane deal!!! 💸
We have had a pretty dry hot summer so far here in New Hampshire. Grass has gone dormant no matter how much I run my irrigation system!
Ugh!
If you want a perennial for the area that floods, I’d recommend a pink flamingo willow shrub, they love the water.
Jes, if you find Summerific hibiscus in Valentines Crush or Cookies and Cream, grab it! They'll do great in full sun and wet soil! Perfect for your lollipop lane!
They look beautiful!
You have a beautiful garden!
Hibiscus also like the water. Cheers Bronwyn 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Beautiful deal, don’t forget to put rabbit bait
Jess, I read that daylillys can handle moisture, as well as some iris plants.

I went to home Depot a week ago and I got lantana hanging baskets and a pretty tropical plant.i love clearance plants😊
Hey Jess think about Chelone "turtlehead plant" which flowers end of summer and Leucothoe which is evergreen with great red fall color for your wet spots.
The garden looks great. For the area that floods, have you thought about trying to build it up by adding a small mound of dirt before planting shrubs?
👍
You could try bog rosemary in the wet area
How about Little Joe Pye Weed or Hardy Hibiscus for the low spot in the yard. Both can tolerate wet well.
How long is your lunch girl?😂 You got a lot of work done. Everything looks beautiful.
Hi Jes.

No, when I work at my office I just stop there when I’m driving home from work to check!
Those begonias are burnt from the sun. They like partial or all shade
This might be a dumb question but can you overwinter begonias?
Yes you can! You can dig them up and keep them inside with enough water and light.
Angel wing begonia
