Jes, I’m loving all the changes you’re making in the gully. The bunny planter was a perfect addition. And I agree, the stepping stones opened up that area of the garden so well. Enjoy the rest of your day! 😊
So glad you named it Bunny Boulevard! The stepping stones are in the perfect place. I spotted a dragonfly stepping stone the first time you were at Cherry Valley. You need to get those and do another path or finish this one. The rainbow 🌈 looks terrific, and you will have to sing it for us...plleeeaaasseee! We pause for purrs and clucks!
I would try co-mingling the japanese fern with that dark moon in the same space. Or underplant it with Lamium. I love the bunny-so Alice in Wonderlandish. You remind me of Alice. One of my favorite childhood stories.💕💕🎶🎶
So miss my old shade garden since we moved to a new home that is all sun. Jess, I am so enjoying all your shade plants and how beautiful it all looks.❤
Hi Jes. These are my favorite movies that you make for us. I love watching you move plants and watching your imagination at work. Your creativity amazes me each time. I love watching Bunny Blvd come to life too. Excellent movie today!! 👏👏❤️
Everything is SO beautiful! Love the stepping stone path. A suggestion...you could alternate the frogs with natural stepping stones to extend the path to your bench, even putting two stones in between the frogs if the path needs to be longer.
Thanks Jes, for taking us with you to Cherry Valley. I love to go there with you. They sure have alot of beautiful things. Loving your path and the cute frog 🐸 stones so cute and fun. Your bunny is adorable and the Bunny Blvd name is definitely so fitting. Loving the Gully gets prettier and prettier. You always encourage me to work in my gardens. I worked out there all day and got it all edged looks so nice. Now I want to move things around also. Can't wait to do that. 😊❤ Hoping for small cooler weather 😊❤ until next time God's blessings love ya 😊❤
Greetings from Ireland, Beautiful garden and amazing hostas. We have seven big hostas in the flower beds and five smaller types in pots. We had the wettest March on record and April wasn't much better. I'm gardening twenty years and have never seen as many slugs and snails in our garden and they do love hostas as much as I do. They have caused some damage but I use slug traps filled with a homemade bait to catch them. I also check under the pots and gently remove them to a new location usually over the neighbours fence.
Bunny Boulevard, perfect! I enjoy watching you move and divide plants. The energy and strength you have is phenomenal. That’s coming from an 81 year old gardener who still gardens every day but at a much slower pace. Your gardens are beautiful. Lake Michigan rocks are the best. I’m impressed that you know the names of all of the different, beautiful, hostas. Question, what kind of hose were you using? It looks light weight.
Stunning yard Jes!!! What about trying Sure Fire Begonias or Vincas in place of the Impatience...similar look & perhaps bunnies won't like them..your hostas are gorgeous!! Happy Gardening!
Hi Jes Love your videos. I, too, went out and purchased a bench for my garden. I couldn't decide on one to get until I saw your video, and then I knew I wanted a stone bench as well. Thanks for all the inspiration, and I love your trips to the garden center❤
Hi Jes 🌺. You arranged these stones beautifully in this bed it looks amazing with mulch . The clematis and the iris and the weigela they look stunning .Jes these is heuchera Midnight Rose (coral bells )it has amazing color you have it . Have a wonderful day . 🌺🌻🌺
Jes, you put the round stones in a path I was waiting for. It will be nice to continue it to the bench...a secret pathway. I was just thinking about reminding you about the retaining wall caps. I love that area and once that is done I know your creative mind will add more things of interest.
I’m happy I Found your channel! You give me inspiration! I just started my little flower garden, but I would love to do something like what you have done.❤ Have a great day!😊
The fishing boy has a female part to the set/ I know because I have the same set. Surprised "Lizzy" didn't tell you. Love all the new things you are doing in your garden. I split my brunnera a few weeks ag. Split one huge brunnra into three plants. They look terrible. Hope they pull out of it.
Jes, it would be awesome if your friend Lizzy could order some more stepping stones so you could complete your path. Your palate pathway wouldn't last as long.
I enjoyed your videos You have alot of land with different ideas You don't have fruit trees in your landscape Or crepe mrytles or colorful trees Maybe with time, great ideas....happy gardening
I love how the stepping stones look. I don't care for the spirea where you put it. I think one of your bright hosta would look great there. But, who am I to say. Everything is beautiful. I have to get back outside and mulch. That is not a job I love. Have a great day.
Oh my word! At 2:31 seeing the view of your husband edging your garden was jaw dropping!!! What a breathtaking view. Loving the idea of a rainbow border. I want one! A shade garden is my idea of heaven, and yours is my dream! I see how hard you work for these gorgeous results. I would love to walk Bunny Boulevard with my morning cup of coffee. It is the perfect, charming , tranquil garden.
Hi Jes The weed you found in the border is commonly named Sticky Jack here in the UK. Be sure to get every bit of the root out as it can be really invasive quickly.
I had just received my Grandpas Weeder when you said you had ordered yours. I'm excited to get out and use it in a few days when my poison ivy is healed enough. Thanks for saying you had to go to the Dr, it pushed me to realize I needed to do the same. So I went yesterday and got steroids and boy, what just 24 hrs makes. So thanks for talking about it. I So appreciate it!! 😊
Love your videos! My favorite thing is the beautiful hostas, I just planted my first three and fingers crossed they do well. I also love hearing the blue jays in the background
Totally agree every day is an adventure whether planned or sidetracked when in the garden 🪴 I so appreciate your shade garden it’s a respite from Florida blazing sun ☀️ Happy gardening Jes
I’m so jealous of your Hosta plants. I dug all of mine up because I couldn’t keep up with all of the snails and slugs, it got too expensive to keep purchasing bait. My yard is infested with them and I hated seeing all the damaged leaves. Your yard is beautiful.
I lost track of how many things you dug up and replanted 😉 You got the pig !!!🤩🤩🤩 If you can't come up with a place to put it, I can send you my address, no problem 😅🤣😂😉 TFS 😄
What about adding the Japanese painted fern next to the Dark side of the moon astilbe? The silver would brighten it up and the burgundy would tie the two together.
Ohh Jess your garden gets more beautiful every time you show it to us. I totally missed it last year. I planted three hostas last summer and moved my elephant ears with some cala lilies so far everything is coming back. Can't wait to clean out some more of my woods continue my shade garden. Definitely don't have as much energy as you but I'm not going to let that stop me. Absolutely love how you move plants around and finished your rainbow and added the stepping stones then mulched. Looks gorgeous. 🤗💓💕💞
Love to see you move your plants around. I get so nervous to move my plants. I think it will hurt them so I try really hard keep them where I plant them. I have moved some and they did not do well so I get nervous.
Things are looking crazy good Jes. I chuckle because just A cpl of short weeks ago you were telling us how “this will fill in so fast” while looking at the gully.. & it sure does! You’ve inspired me so much! Thank you. Bunny Boulevard is perfect! 😆😊♥️
Hi Jes, it all looks SO good! Just have to tell you, I found a pair of that exact bunny on FB market place for $10. for the pair! Then I noticed them at your nursery in one of your previous videos and couldn’t believe it. 😁
Just and Idea... put up a short fence, between you and neighbor to hide some of their "brushy treeline" and plant some "tall bloomers" maybe like Canas ( lots of colors & height) that bloom spring until frost! (Just a friendly suggestion!) Your yard is Amazing!!!
I think the little boy fishing statue you bought would look really cute sitting on the bridge you just put in.
Hello my Michigan friend👋
You have inspired this 62 year old Texas girl to plant up her woodland area. It's been so rewarding. 💙

I like that rainbow. I’m interested to see how it develops/fills in.
Love those stepping stones! So glad you went back and got the bunny planter so cute❣️
Hi Jes
The weed you found in the border is commonly named Sticky Jack here in the UK. Be sure to get every bit of the root out as it can be really invasive quickly.
I love it the stone path you make...you inspire me a lot..now I'm hunting for a brunera plant to put in my garden..
Your vision for your gardens is amazing! Everything looks amazing! Love the bunny planter for bunny blvd 😊

Suggested location for your concrete fishing boy, your new bridge. 😃
I’m so jealous of your Hosta plants. I dug all of mine up because I couldn’t keep up with all of the snails and slugs, it got too expensive to keep purchasing bait. My yard is infested with them and I hated seeing all the damaged leaves. Your yard is beautiful.
Need a Hog Heaven or a Piggy Paradise now . Looks great Jes ! Love ya x

Things are looking crazy good Jes. I chuckle because just
A cpl of short weeks ago you were telling us how “this will fill in so fast” while looking at the gully.. & it sure does! You’ve inspired me so much! Thank you. Bunny Boulevard is perfect! 😆😊♥️

You have the most beautiful garden!!!
Love watching your videos and your gorgeous garden.
I often go out with a plan. But then I find something else that needs to be done more. Ha!
I’ve been looking for some brunnera too! I need to go to my garden center this week!
You get a really good price. I had to pay 3.98 for an 8 pack of plugs this season.
