It's 12:30am and i'm getting hungry
I think small undertones of lavender can really bring out some good combos in deserts. That being said, it needs to be VERY small amounts. Things like these truffles have way too much in them. It's like eating hand soap.

I absolutely love chocolate with herbs and spices. Does that mean my beardy Norman ass is girly?

I have tried lavender hot chocolate and lavender chocolate. I can honestly say I think it's a gimmick as it added nothing in terms of flavor and the texture wasn't amazing. If anything it made the chocolate taste worse.
nah either you did it wrong or the brand you got wasn't great. If you get it good quality it can be totally amazing.
Lavender works really well if you combine it with citrus, for example, white chocolate with lavender and lemon.
David Lessard I got it from a chocolate shop. Wasn't a brand store .
deathpyre42 maybe that's it. Lavender with milk or dark chocolate just tasted bitter and grainy:/
