    Daniel I've been watching your videos for quite a few months now and you have effectively raised the knowledge of lots of people using the M32 Digital Mixer. But actually you can assign Buses to the M/C. You can either Select a Bus and then Engage the Mono Centre Button. Or you can from the MTX 1-6 Main Layer Select the M/C Bus then on the far left side of the Mixer Select the Bus Master Button. Select Fader Flip and Unmute the Bus that you want then Raise the Fader.

    Thank you Daniel. For separate the Sub and the High Speakers there are a few spezial Modi in the EQ Section. Bessel, Butterworth, Linkwitz etc. I use Linkwitz with 24db Oktave. Can you say something to the Pro and cons?

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem +1

      I think 24db/octave is a bit too steep, I would go with 12 or 18 at most because the steeper the filter the more resonance it will create at the selected frequency. Also whichever filter you decide to use make sure it's the same type of filter on both sides of the cross over. Don't use 2 different types of filters on the same crossover point

    Nice simple and short but I’ve got a question, how can one copy and paste a channel unto USB??

  • @HubLocationSound

    If anyone would know it’d be you…
    I use the Mono bus to feed a Comms feed into my headphone mix (I send my broadcast mix out on LR) and I listen on the Headphone routing option LR+M/C so the Comms are only herd by me and don’t ho to the mix. But what I soon realized is that this LR+M/C monitoring option is not truly Post fader. If I pull the LR fader down, I still hear the LR mix in my headphones. This also made me aware that I don’t her the Precision Limiter inserted on my LR bus. Any idwas on how to hear the LR AFL and M/C to achieve this monitoring scenario?

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem +1

      Go to the monitor page
      Look at the right side of the screen
      Set monitor source as LR AFL
      Look at the left of the screen and turn on
      Channel solo AFL
      Mixbus solo AFL
      DCA solo AFL
      and that should fix your problem but to hear the mono center bus you would have to hit the solo button on it

    If one wanted to use a multi band compressor inserted on the total mix, I assume you would need to insert a separate compressor on the subs, is that correct? The sub channel is taking a completely different path than the main right/left?

    Do I need to set filters in LR and Mono if my powered main speakers and subs already have built-in crossovers?

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem

      No you don't need to if your speakers work together as a set

    What settings would I use if I wanted to use the M/C as a bus independent of the LR?

    • @naomiballiston4613
      @naomiballiston4613 Před rokem

      To clarify. Our church is very small. We want the base and drums in the sub only, not in the LR. How can we accomplish this?

    • @danielkharrat
      @danielkharrat  Před rokem

      @Naomi Balliston i do not recommend sending the kick and bass channels only to the sub because you still need the higher frequencies to hear the attack of these instruments
      I suggest you use matrices
      Link matrix 1 and 2 and send the main LR to it and assign xlr outputs 15 and 16 to matrix 1 and 2
      Then do a low cut at 100hz for example (you'll have to look up the cross over point for your speakers)
      This is you LR speakers without the sub frequencies
      Then do the same for the subs
      Link matrix 3 and 4 if you're running subs in stereo or just use matrix 3 as it is without linking if you're running subs in mono
      Then send the main LR to matrix 3 and assign xlr output 14 to matrix 3
      And do a high cut at the same frequency (100 hz in this example)
      No this is only your sub frequencies
      So just mix normally without using the mono bus and you can control your subs with matrix 3
      If you don't know how to use matrices i have a video on that you can watch it czcams.com/video/54UhtUEgw70/video.html
