When Botw2 got delayed I began wondering how it would affect Odyssey 2. It seems we'll get something about that either this holiday or holiday 2023. It would have to be announced this e3 tho, which might not be enough time to get ready for a holiday release this year. If it's 2023, then it'll feel like 2017 again

Pauline from Super Mario Odyssey was shown in the Donkey Kong arcade game that Jumpman, Mario's original name had to ascend to rescue from Donkey Kong. That game later became a stage to battle on in the last three Super Smash Bros. games; Brawl, 3DS/Wii U and Ultimate and it also appeared in Pixels as the boss challenge for Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), Will Cooper (Kevin James) and Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan).

It’s an april fools joke.
My guess for the Mario odyssey 2 would be it’s in sarasaland, bowser kidnaps Daisy (because peach was too stubborn) and Luigi tries to save her. Luigi gets knocked into the cap kingdom, seeing Mario talking with cappy. Cappy’s cousin or brother comes in saying his cousin or sister was kidnapped for Daisy. Mario, luigi, and their caps travel around the world in the end reaching a distant planet where daisy is. They save Daisy together. This could also work with bowser kidnapping peach&Daisy too

In my opinion they shouldn’t use a ton of old levels because Super Mario Oddysey contains a lot of unique characters and stuff, but maybe they could bring back some underused characters like the Whittles from SMG2 for an autumn kingdom or something like that
