Watching the progress in the production quality and delivery to camera of your early contributions to the present output Andrew is very satisfying. What accounts for the move away from 100% timelapse to only using accelerated footage where it is warranted is I guess an increase in confidence and sense of what viewers enjoy the most. That truck wins every show it is used in, and gets him home at the end of the day.
I have ppl tell me the opposite. I repair my 96 Civic every year. A, I can fix alot myself. B, you cant buy another one that runs good without spending alot. C, I know this devil, 220,000 miles. Most, I say most is already done. Well see
@@ducewags Look for the waterpump vid. He drove it home to fix it. Suprized he doesnt make his own hydraulic hoses YET.
@@jeromeduffy9270 And that my friend, is why I love watching the shows. Back in the day I used gum in the weep hole of a water pump to drive home. I have used womans nylons as a belt to make it home, and a spring from a pen as a carb linkage holder when the clip fell out. All on the same truck, at the same time. The coolant tossed the belt and tore the carb linkage off and busted the AC pully off the compressor. I sure miss that old truck. Duffy, from Minnesota by chance? BACON.
I agree with not heating your shop for the exact reasons you mentioned. The bonus to not heating your shop is being able to work outside for hours when it is cold. I live in northern (lower) Michigan and don’t even feel the cold unless it is single digit temps. Nice job with the maintenance of your plow truck and the tips about the non-functioning plow. Thanks for sharing, Andrew!
Andrew, hats off to you. In all the videos I've watched ( hundreds ) in bad situations whether your fault or someone else, you have never list your cool or cursed.
Now I know when the snowmobile video was made, that was great. Go gettum Andrew. Let no snowflake be unturned....
When you pulled into the first driveway, I thought you were going to hit a tree. Lol
Most CZcamsrs would edit out getting stuck....I like the honesty you bring to it. Life happens and all you can do is work it out like you did
I do a lot of driveways like you do, I was always all about the straight blade plow. One day my truck was broke and I used a friends V plow. It sold me with in 2 driveways.. perfect for what you do. Food for thought. It will make your job a lot easier!
I hope you keep making these videos
Do you live in an area that gets much snow? All depends on how much snow they get where he lives.
So do I!
I wonder where he lives...county or state. I live in south Alabama, and we saw maybe 28 degrees this year as our lowest. 3 years ago we got down to 9 degrees...it was freakin awesome!
@@SuperDave44Mag In Mi we got to our lowest in decades about -10f with windchill well below that. It was not awesome I assure you as many people died or were injured because of it. :-(
Xcaliber Trekker my experience was awesome with kids playing in the snow and people having a little fun, and to my knowledge no one died that I’m aware of, but thanks...people dying was not where I saw this commentary going. Way to add fatal dramatics to the thread...I’m sure you’re a hoot to be around.
Nice...2 vids in 1 day.....awesome....... :)
Great video. Good advice on getting that broken plow off the ground with a chain. I've done that with the lift axle on my dump truck. Works great to.
Amazing music and drone footage at the end. Always looking forward
to your next video.
Nice video Andrew. Nice job too on taking cared of your truck. 👍
You need carry a set of tire chains ! It's good to be young and full of energy .
he has chains, that wasnt a time for them
You think this guy doesn't have tire chains? He has everything.
This guy probably has a hidden skid loader on that truck somewhere
14:47 I think Levi the dog got concerned about you; Levi might have thought you were in a compromising position or were hurt/injured?
Dog: Mans Best Friend.
Loved watching the snow plowing down the roads. Glad you got it all fixed. Peace and Good Fortune to you.
Your an excellent mechanic and do a great job trouble shooting equipment issues!
I know your not going to agree but in about 10 or 15 years your view of working in the cold will change, i keep my garage at about 45 degrees when working nowdays, but i was more like you years ago!
Plow driveways in the winter and repair them in the summer. That’s a self-sustaining business model.
I find it very relaxing to watch snow getting plowed. That Dodge Ram plows really well!
Watching you plow through the woods without orange sticks everywhere was so cool! Great job
