Only thing with the baking soda is that all of it will not come out! When i got my Cali King I was told to invest in a mattress cover to prevent dust mites fungi and bodily fluids(sweat/oils) these add pounds to the mattress over years! Changing out your mattress covers every 2-3 months helps! Doing this has stopped my allergies at night a ton!
Hello! I used to sell mattresses! It boggles my mind how all these cleaners don’t know this. Baking soda doesn’t clean your mattress. You can’t put your mattress in a washing machine. You have to prevent it from being soiled with sweat and skin dander in the first place. Almost all mattress have some memory foam. The sweat creates sinking and dipping … dust mites and mold! Yes! And yes the dust mites create terrible allergies! And a mattress without an encasement is like a sponge and it’s also open territory for bed bugs 😱
How much money do you spend on changing the mattress cover every 3 months?👀 I think it would average at least $100 a year.. that's too much for me and my cheap mattress lol. I think the most I'd do is change the mattress cover once a year when I can get it on sale like Black Friday, but if I had a good mattress I'd probably take care of it better.😅
If you make a habit of cleaning your fan every week, even every couple of weeks, you can avoid that disgusting layered dust, use a swiffer!!! So easy it will take literally minutes
I use a spongy materass cover underneath the bed sheet and I wash it in the washing machine every time I change the beddings. My materass has a zipper so I can separate the textile cover of it from latex core and twice a year I just throw that outside materess cover in the washing machine.
Or you can use old newspaper 📰 or grocery store flyers that come in the mail 😍🥳 Reuse ♻️ recycle ❤ So you don’t have to use clean paper towels, or rags that you will have to use soap/ water and electricity to wash. For me that’s the “ultimate” saving trick. 😅😜
