Of course I've played it, how could I skip this gem! 40 something hours on PC and 70 something on mobile. Still haven't tried the latest update, 1.5, tho.
I’m a musician, and I find it really interesting how you can hear how the scrapped tracks here evolved into the ones in the game. Like, the Fall tracks are some of my favorites, and I can clearly here elements of Raven’s Descent in Plums.
This game is BRILLIANT. I have not had so much fun like this in a long time. I feel like I'm playing a great SNES classic. I've been playing this for my livestream and most are greatly entertained. I say I'm gonna play for 2 hours.. and 10 hours later..well. x____x I'm hooked.

I listen to these songs sometimes while I just surf the web. You are truly a talented game developer. You can tell that your heart is really in this, which is something I really appreciate as an avid HM fan. Thank you so much for bringing this sort of life and depth to my favorite series! Can't wait for the game.

Well, I've purchased it 9 times (once for my computer, once for my switch, once for my phone, and six copies for a random giveaway when it came out because I loved it so much that I wanted as many people to have it as possible!). If that answers your question! Haha.
On a more serious note, it's a ridiculously in -depth game that I still find myself being drawn to many years later. I play it frequently throughout the year and still haven't run out of content, because the developer constantly puts out new content in the form of free updates. If you're on the fence about it, definitely get it! You won't be disappointed (if this style of game appeals to you in any way). Honestly, even if it doesn't; my husband has never liked games like this and he has more hours than I do!
@@abi21891 Bought it in march 2016 and I love it. Bought i once for pc and once for switch. I have only played 115 hours (I have had many breaks because of old and broken pc's). But noe Im playing it dayly.
@@osmya0044 Oh that's awesome! And yeah, I've had a lot of breaks too. When I play, I usually pick it up for a couple of weeks and set it back down. The farm grind can really take it out of you! Haha. Glad you enjoy it! :)

Dang look at dat interface. Look at dem sprites! CA, I hope you realize how much your game has impacted people. Stardew Valley has a place in my heart along games like Animal Crossing and Ocarina of Time. The best memories I have of the 2016 summer was sitting down and playing Stardew Valley for like 8-12 hours at a time (when I wasn't working!)

0:00 “Bouncy” is really nice. Too bad it didn’t stay in the game. I think there’s another song similar to it though.
2:13 “Plums” is really ambient. It fits fall well.
3:54 “Ghost Synth”! This one stayed in the game. Lots of ambience still but a little bit less outgoing. I like it.
5:53 “Ancient”. This also stayed in the game, and it really does suit winter!
7:53 “Crystal Bells” is always nice to hear in the mine, and like the others, it suits it well. Slow but kind of hollow while still having beat. Interesting to see the old mine, I didn’t know Stardew had that in the past.
10:05 “Secret Gnomes”. This kind of sounds like water dripping from the cave roof in a rhythm. Glad it was kept.
11:09 “Electro Band” is not like the others at all, since it’s much more upbeat. I don’t know if this stayed in or not but I like it.
12:13 “Music Box Night”. This is always cute to listen to.
12:50 “Moment” I never heard while playing either, but it’s also super cute. I like the bells.
13:58 “Stardew Valley”? I think this is the title screen music if I remember correctly. It fits the game since it has all the elements. It’s calm but it also has some higher notes, and the the rhythm is memorable. The marker says “night”, so I’m not entirely sure where this is from. It’s been a while since I played.
I've always had the idea of time stamping music and reviewing every song like this lol

Electro band stayed in the game as one of Sam’s songs.
Moment plays during the wedding
Moment is now called Buttercup Melody and is played during the Wedding and multiple heart events
wow, ghost synth never changed, and its one of the old tracks still in the game, but nowdays it holds up better

Listening to SV soundtrack relaxes me because I associate it with relax (while playing) and because it's so cute and chill. I have a very stresful job saving lives and this is helpful sometimes. I just turn it on and the first few notes immediately relax me ^_^ Thanks for that Eric!

Most of this music has stayed and I love it. Some of this music is delightful and I couldnt live without it.

I recognize almost all of these used in the game. There where a couple at the beginning that were used in different parts of the game and tweeked a bit before release. Great game, love to see the development.

I've been playing this for just a year now and looking back at the comments really tells me how wonderful this game even before. These soundtrack puts me to sleep every night! And sometimes dreamt of being in the game. I have anxiety and this game relieved it. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
It's amazing how far the game has come, this sounds nice it's great to listen to some of the old stuff for the game. Man Plum sounds like I'm going on an adventure in fall or winter for some reason. Oh & there's Ghost Synth!

It's very interesting how you can see the quality difference between a song like Ghost Synth that made it into the game, and some of the tracks before it that did not make it.

I can’t believe a lot of these songs aren’t in the game today (1.4 almost 1.5) they are amazing and it’s insane to hear a good song not make the cut for the final game. ConcernedApe is truly talented

seeing this and comparing with today’s 1.5 really hits to how much this incredible game has changed

I think you should bring back old tunes like 'Bouncy' and 'Plums' for stuff like Spring, and Fall at nighttime. Or maybe even release old tunes in an unused Stardew Valley song collection! I still come back to these older videos to listen to these older soundtracks

Very cool, parts of some of the unused songs feel like the came from Ace Attorney. Maybe your musical talent is how Stardew manages to feel so nostalgic, even for people like me who never played a game in this genre before Stardew.

After Hearing Bouncy and Plums after all these years of playing Stardew Valley, now I'm curious how many other amazing unreleased tracks ConcernedApe has Stockpiled on his PC never to see the light of day (and what will be in store for Haunted Chocolatier, perhaps Bouncy & Plums could make an appearance in Haunted Chocolatier?)

These are all so amazing! I can't even pick a favorite but I really love Moment/ Electro Band/ Secret Gnomes and Plum! It really makes me feel like this game is going to be super awesome.

The game changed so much visually but I think the vibes of the music have always been the same. It's weird, it's like I finally have images to describe the feeling of the songs, like idk what I'm saying but the final game is super beautiful but it doesn't match the soundtrack as much? Also this is weird I have dreams about Stardew Valley but some things are different and it actually looks more like the beta. Today is the first time I've seen any of it.
