Hey DJ Martini, I got the Proreck 2000 and used for my solo acoustic gig for the first time last Sunday. And it was a success. Worked really well, great sound and volume. Perfect for small to medium sized rooms. Thanks for your suggestion.
Great review series! Thank you.
Thank you for watching and your feedback. Much appreciated.
To be honest that’s sounds so great I know that’s powerful that’s the best Proreck to dj u explain it very well since u got that one I can tell u love this one 😆
Thanks for watching and your feedback.
Very helpful video.thanks.
Thank you for watching and your feedback. Much appreciated.
Awesome looks great
Always appreciate the comments and feedback.
DJ Martini, Great Job!
You and I have had some 1 on 1 conversations regarding modifications and construction. I respect and appreciate you reviewing this unit. I would like to add to your comment regarding the price and comparison to the "sticks" Bose or the EV or any other "stick". I own LD systems equipment and I am very familiar with all the other brands and I know what they will do. Now I know there are people that will say, "I use my Bose L1's outdoors on outdoor stages". Maybe, and it might work in some cases but, your overworking it and bottom line they are not going to throw sound out there like these will. The science and hardware is not made to do that. Yes the price is similar but even though I have never heard this exact system yet, I would never take a "stick" to a gig that you would take this system to. Any "stick" system (i don't care which brand cheap or expensive) is made for a more close proximity environment and a stick does sound great but, it is not made for throwing the sound out there. That is why you don't see a "stick" system at a concert.
Now I am going to pick on the system a little. I am not saying this is really a line array. It might be because the design, and close proximity does look like the math might work out. Line arrays have a lot of science and math put into them. The fly hardware does look OK, until I saw it in person I cant make a comment. But my biggest complaint about this is, the plug. It's not speakon or neutrik. 1/4" plugs (to me) scream unprofessional. I will say, I am thinking I will pick up a set of these for specific use, (not touring LOL) but the first thing I would be doing it modify the plugs to locking speakon connectors. 1/4" plugs can get hit from the side and they become useless and anyone that does gigs regularly knows about fixing things at the gig sometimes, but, they are not easily serviceable and speakon does not break like a 1/4" will. There ya go, until I can get my hands on some, my only grip is the plug. I do like the series/parallel plug to simplify impedance. Good job Pro Reck.
My advice to anyone that is looking at the price, again I have not heard it but the construction (other than the plug) looks pretty good and you could take these to mane venues and use these in a wide range of gigs. I would take these to any gig that you would use a "stick" speaker in plus you could do bigger gigs with this unit and different gigs. But you could not ever take a "stick" to the all the gigs you could use this unit in. So that in my opinion, says it is a more versatile and more useful system unless you plan to do only close proximity or smaller venues.
Thanks for watching , your feedback, and sharing. A lot of good insights. Thank you .
You can try the song with more bass performance, this subwoofer is quite astonishing when it plays the song with heavy bass!! All the parts are made in great quality. We are proud for one thing and that's the reason we put up this system. Your ear will not feel pain when you hear the heavy bass songs the whole day, the sound from it will not hurt you at all! Maybe you can try some other bass song next time, standing in front of the sub to get the power of music
Can it be used with a band?
@@krisbeavers2908 yes, the PR-212T is made for dj’s , bands , and good sized venues . My opinion it is a good choice for a band . Still run a separate soundboard or mixer for best performance… to your separate instruments and microphones. Thanks.

Have you tried the Proreck PR 212TS with the 16 speaker array and 4 12’s. Looking to get it but haven’t seen any reviews on it.
Hi, thanks for the vids!! Would an 8000 be good for a live 4 piece band in a medium to large bar/venue or is it too small? Thanks!
Hello , thanks for watching and your feedback. My opinion .. The club 8000 would work for a medium sized venue and band . But a large venue , you might want a little more volume for crowd noise . Also depending on the type of band , if on a stage / speakers elevated , and the music type will have some factors. I always advise still using a soundboard or mixer for all instruments and microphones. If you do pick one up let me know how it works … Thanks .

Proreck club 8000, I can't really say I am unhappy with them as I believe they will serve my purpose. I bought 2 sets. The speakers seem to handle the power well but it sounds like the tops outrun the subs. Clairity is good but a little bright without the low mid presence. If you are looking for karaoke or D J,ing then they should work well for you. My use was for a country music band and show. I will be using a mixing console which should correct the imbalance through the mix. I really won't know until I dig a little further. I wouldn't be afraid of them as long as you know these limitations. (but they are not 8000 watts)!!!
How loud are they do they crank loud and when does the distortion kick in, I will also use them in my home for music listening
The arrays rate at 109 decibels
Subs 124 decibels according to specs sheet. In my opinion it’s loud and it is very accurate at high volumes but most systems distortion a little at 90 percent volume or so . But the sub level and satellite level can adjusted separately. Thanks.

Hey man great video and thanks for the coupon code! Just have a quick question. I wanna buy the pr-212t today but the ship date on their website says 8/12-9/12. Since theyre phone number is disconnected and live chat is down as well. I was wondering if that could just be a typo and if so how long after you ordered did you receive your system?
Thanks, Al
Thanks for watching and sharing. I remember it did take a least full business week to receive and I did received the small boxes a day before the sub and arrays . I did hear stock was low but you might email ProReck and check for more details. Thanks.
We are looking for a system for our church fellowship hall 75' x 60' I was thinking about the 4000 or 6000 set would you suggest either one or should we go with the 8000 9' drop ceilings. Being used for Bible studies and some music and movies
Hello , thanks for watching and your question. My opinion is the 6000 and 8000 are good choices. The 6000 would work but 8000 will have more volume depending on wants, budget , and needs. Both sound similar and have the same features (8000 just has bigger subs & more speakers). I also suggest still using a soundboard or mixer for all instruments and microphones.
Also check out the PR-212T concert set …another option if budget allows . Thanks 🙏

Thank you for watching and sharing.
I have a question! I just bought the pro reck concert set and was wondering if it’s able to power a couple of (club 6000) speakers in addition. I found someone selling 4 Proreck club 6000 speakers by them self and was curious if the sub could power both the linear rays at the same time
Thanks for watching and your question. I would not add speakers to your concert set System. ProReck systems are designed to work as a system with the components provided. Adding more speakers might cause extra heat and issues with the amplifier causing possible failure. I would suggest running any extra passive speakers with another amplifier which I’ve done before. Hear are some inexpensive options I’ve used before .. unless you own another amplifier . I would recommend around 200 watts rms only for the arrays, no more than 250 watts rms.
*My opinions only / use my information at your own risk*. Actually array specs may differ ( I think the 6000 arrays are only rated at 100 watts rms ) but I’ve use them with similar power before as I advised .. * Warning ⚠️ running more power at high volume may damage the arrays *.
Thank you .

Ok, so I ask how loud bc I am comparing them to my svs prime speakers that are bi ped with the Mad 275 b, which are pretty loud so will these 212t Proreck out play them as far as loudness, bc I do not have anything to compare them too... Thanks for the help again
Unfortunately, I’ve never heard that setup .. it sounds like a very nice setup . I’m not sure the comparison. This is more of music Pa system than home theater / home use though. Thanks .
Is there a selectable crossover fq in the Sub?
Only sub gain and satellite speaker gain plus digital presets . No frequency level on the concert series . Thanks .

Hi, would you recommend the Proreck Venue Set 10000W Stereo/Mono DJ Powered PA Speaker System Combo Set for a 500 Seat Church? according to your experience with this system how does it responds to a live band with multiple singers. and one mor last thing? in what state are you located? we may want to listen to this system live in person.... Thanks in advance!!
Thanks for watching. In My opinion the venue setup should workout fine in a church settings. I would also recommend getting a large sound board / mixer though for multiple instruments and singers along with ProReck or any setup you choose . Thanks.
Can u add additional subs to it? Other brand subs such as qsc, ev?
Thanks for watching and your question. Absolutely, it has link outs / mix outputs for XLR outputs for any other brand powered / active subwoofers .
Thanks 🙏

ok, so this being my last question for you - I can not hear this system anywhere where I live, so did you hear of these and can you tell or anyone here tell me how they compare to the Proreck - first is the EarthQuake Dj Quake ver 2, with subwoofer and the second is the Pyle Line Array With subwoofer
Thanks for watching and your question. But unfortunately I don’t think i could compare the system just by specs. Both are similar to ProReck club AEF and the club 6000 systems . Since I’ve never heard the others system I can’t say much . Thanks and sorry can’t be more helpful.

DJ Martini, I purchased the Proreck Club 4000, and I want to know if I can add 1 array per cluster (for a total of 6 like the Club 8000) and if so, where can I get them? I didn't see them on the website. Thanks
Appreciate the watch and the question. Unfortunately , I don’t think ProReck sells those arrays separately. You might email AudioProReck and ask if you could Purchase just a set of 4000 arrays. Thanks .
@DjMartiniMidwest Thanks Bruh. I reached out and they sell them individually for 69.99 ea. Good looking out. But can you tie another 18" active sub to the existing one?
@@thengnetworkcc Yes, all the subwoofers should have a mix output or monitor out to be able to hook up to other powered subwoofers . Thanks.
Thank you
How do these sound compared to the ev? And is there tripods i can buy to get them high high i want a system for a big conference room i have a behringer 18 ill be using as well
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I can’t compare this to a EV system cause it’s not very similar. Although It’s well built, sounds good , loud , and still portable. EV is great too.
@@DjMartiniMidwest I mean in sound quality on the mids and highs do they get loud ? Ik the EVs can fill a room easily
@@Furybeatsgme
Yes , very good clean loud sound and clarity. Subwoofer is clean and accurate but not overwhelming… Ev subwoofers might be better. But this system will easily fill good sized venue . Thank you .
@@DjMartiniMidwest okay thanks alot you've given me alot to think about
Sounds good to
Can I had another subwoofer to this set up and can you add more Proreck array speakers to this set up
Yes , any powered subwoofer can be added but arrays are not advised to added . Do not add more than provided in one PreReck system. Since the arrays are powered per the ProReck’s powered subwoofer.
But systems can be connected together for more . Thanks
Hey man great vid that system looks very nice thank you for the video. Here is one thing I didn't hear you say anything about. So I'm a dj yes been being for year in the last year I lost all of my equipment iv been a ev fan but I don't have the money to get ev I know the limits on those from clipping and I also had some Mackie thumps big difference but the limit on those on clipping was way way less than the evs what's the clipping limit on this system thanks
Thanks for watching and your question. Unfortunately, that’s probably a SPL type question. So without the other speakers /equipment you use to test with the ProReck and a good size space to test. Anything I would do ..wouldn’t be a good comparison or test . To give .. sorry a can’t help more at the moment.
@DjMartiniMidwest have you not used them at a event yet?
@@chrisnelson3269 Yes … Sorry , I have not had the opportunity to use them for gig yet .. thanks
Have you used them at a event yet I would like to se a video of them at a venue or somthing
How many arrays can I stack using this system is there a maximum? For example two of these systems 8 arrays on each side with two 12 inch Subwoofers
Yes , maximum is the same as the ProReck venue set. 8 arrays per subwoofers.. since the subwoofers power both . Thank you .

@@DjMartiniMidwest last question I promise lol. I wanted to power my arrays separately on both sides I ordered the Pro Reck “Concert” Series it I don’t know how much wattage I need for a Power Amplifier do I need two or just one to power all 16 arrays
One more question: I am a little worried about how this system handles vocals and drums. Will lows and low mids suffer because of a lack of mid (12'') speakers. Can it supply the frequency's necessary to bridge the sound? I have a lot of old school subs (cerwin vega, peavey folded horn) and sp-1 cabs. But I want to down size without losing anything.
Unfortunately i can’t talk on the topic very well / guarantee on band use . I’ve never tested as a dj . I heard good reviews via sound using a mixing board / sound board with the system. But I’ve also used old school peavys sub cabinet/ others and you might not reach that desired sound with the twelve inches subs . How is the two 8000 systems working with the 18 inch subwoofers for you ? I’ve heard a lot of bands using the 8000 system with success and a mixing board to dial in equipment and mics . The systems can always mix in / link to any extra equipment you need . Thanks .
@@DjMartiniMidwest I plan on using the new mackie 24 with built in effects and compression. Do I need to go 31 band graphic eq pre power amp.
@@DjMartiniMidwest I haven't received the 2- 8000 units yet but was wondering about the mid's and lows when using 18'' subs...Where do the 18'' mid's cross?
What do you recommend proreck aef 4000 12 inch subs or proreck 6000 15 inch subs? Help thanks
Wanna buy the whole set with arrays? Which one will be better thank u
Hello , thanks for watching and your question. Depends on your needs… I would probably do the 6000 if you don’t mind the bigger / heavier subs but if you want something more portable do the AEF system it is not as loud but very versatile and a portable set up . You Can always add a powered subwoofer later for more lows like a PR18 Thanks.

ProReck is telling me that the subwoofer can't handle the weight of the arrays, have you seen any issues or are you not using a pole to mount these on the subwoofer? Just curious if you've seen any issues yet. Having to lug tripods might send me the other way on this setup.
Unfortunately, I can’t answer your questions because i have not used the pole mount on the subwoofers or tested . I look into it as well . Thanks
@@DjMartiniMidwest thanks regardless! From their response it sounds like it might just need some reinforcement for those heavy arrays.
I wonder if one of the sub settings is a high pass taking the mids out of the subs domains I’d so an engineer with the board I hope you do a review of that new subwoofer with a high pass out with those array tops
Thanks for watching and question . On subwoofer Simple inputs and a link output for other powered speakers. Only EQ DSP settings. No high pass or extra settings . Thanks .
Thanks I think the new sub with those tops and the high pass out would dig out the mud in the mids that we had with the club 8000
Why do you not have a sp218 review?
Thanks for watching… I currently just don’t have room to review and store the big speakers . Thanks 🙏
How many Watts again? I think I only heard it once.....?
700 watts RMS and 1000 peak power according to ProReck. Thanks .
I'm of the opinion that a lot is better than just enough. I bought 2 of the proreck 8000 systems. I'm wondering how well the coverage will be with both systems linked and what can I expect in power or volume with these two linked systems. This is for a country music show on a monthly basis...Thanks
Two 8000 systems should work well for your project and can easily be linked together. Sufficient for most large events . Volume and coverage with two systems would be similar to a concert set but construction / build is better on a concert set .. also might get a bit more volume out of venue set or two concert sets. My opinions only. Thanks 🙏
Been out there I'm not getting any younger I've ordered two sets of array systems 8,000 club and $6,000 concert the second order the concert 6000 I only received the sub in a box of Hardware I have no idea where my arrays are said it was packed the 8,000 Club arrived with the woofer one of two damaged. My major complaint has nothing to do with sound quality it is impossible to get ahold of customer service or to get any follow up after I spent this company buyer beware.
@@papat7663 sorry , about your experience. Thanks for sharing thou . Hopefully ProReck gets everything resolved. AudioProReck.com help?
I'm pretty sure most of the major speaker companies like JBL, QSC, RCF, etc. have similar arrays. Theirs utilize apps and DSP so im not sure this is a true array. I don't think I could justify $2k for ProReck. Especially considering I'd want two subs and that'd run nearly $3k.
Thanks for watching and your feedback.
I wish their systems didn't default to starting up in Bluetooth Pairing mode. I think as it is, any idiot in the crowd could discover the system, connect to it and play something through your system. Providing of course, you forgot to turn BT off.
Thank you for watching and sharing. Good thoughts!
Tell me more about the 6000
The CLUB 6000 is one of Proreck's new products in 2023. It has Two 15 inch subwoofers one powered and one passive. Then has (4) 6 inch array speakers. Good value and sound. Thanks
• Thank you, DJ Martini, I appreciate your excellent reviews and overall knowledge, experience, and intelligence.
> I'm looking for some more speakers to expand the DJ show all around a building for an outdoor classic car show. The building is about 300 feet long and 150 feet wide. The requirement is to place speakers so attendees all around the facility will be able to hear the show . . . .
• The solution must include wireless -- we don't want people tripping on speaker cables. We also don't want people stealing the equipment -- one car show last year had a man and woman steal the donation jar, getting away with over $6,500 in cash.
czcams.com/video/aQUulqlpTIE/video.html
That’s a tough one , wireless setups are expensive. And i would be worried about theft so I would still probably use 15 inch PA speakers with Bluetooth wireless adapters. Range is only 100 ft but should cover ok in a building. I currently Really like the value of ProReck SP-15’s & a review is coming soon . I have used the Alto Bluetooth wireless adapters at about 50ft and they have worked decently for me .. also they can link adapters together . My opinions and thoughts. Also a Less inexpensive setup. @@robbiesmith9786 yes , you can link any other powered / active subwoofer to ProReck system.
1st problem you need 2 subs for every top in a concert system so you got 8 tops ,that's 16 subs or equivalent sub power output ,300 people you will definitely need those extra subs unless you want to sound like the local karaoke guy ,is that a double sub ,if it is you need 4 of those per side ,,,ahh i see now ,you are the local karaoke guy ,that's why you don't know what your doing ,,,,you probably got less than half the equipment you need to make that system piss like it's supposed to , the problem is it's a powered system so it's selling point is also it's killer ,,you'll need all the subs the more people you fill the room with but 500 will always be your ;limit cos the powered systems just don't have the push to get through that many people ,it will struggle from 300/400 people ,after that you need a passive system ,where's your mixing board at least jeez ,,,then there's all the rack equip you need ,so there's thousands more needed to be spent to make this a pro rigg and like i said once you hit 500 people it's panic time cos you won't get through 600 heads ,,,,might as well get the passive system straight off the bat ,,that's if you have the intention of growing that is and if you don't then the end result after passing those numbers is everything you just spent on the powered system is now worth nothing cos you now have to spend it all again plus more in a passive system to handle the bigger crowds and also a passive system can be made bigger and bigger ,,powered system ,doesn't matter how many speakers n crap you have it wont push through 500/600 people ,that's just the limitations of a powered system ,physics
