    I love the Renegade Council SO MUCH MORE than the Paragon Council. They tend to get shit done faster & argue w/ Shepard less. Quentius is AWESOME! I like how he's completely upfront with Shepherd saying, "We need to work together! Here is the help we need, now go get it so we can beat the Reapers!"
    Esheel is also a little more practical. You still don't gain a lot of points with her by curing the genophage, but she figures out how to turn that around to a + for the galaxy.
    Irissa is definitely colder than Tevos, but at least she's up front about it. After saving her life once from the Cerberus attack, she comes around pretty quick & is much more practical to saving the galaxy & helping you. It takes 2 times to save Tevos before she sees the error of her ways.
    So just over all, the Renegade Council is the better option. Even though it doesn't earn you a lot of friends in Mass Effect 2, it pays off more in Mass Effect 3.

      @Comintern1919 Před 4 lety +25

      As much as Irissa *seems* more cold, I don't think she actually is.
      Tevos outright states at the beginning of Mass Effect 3 that they **won't** help Earth because it is a good distraction. Irissa says they **can't**, making it clear they would if they could. Her saying that their Worlds come first makes sense from a non-Human perspective.

    My only regrets for not saving the Destiny Ascension were Tevo's death and the deaths of the soldiers onboard. The moment when the Asari soldier says "They closed the channel" was a feels bad.
    Fuck Sparatus though

      I started laughing when they said that but the only reason I killed them off was because I thought it was smarter to focus on sovereign instead of delaying the attack to save people but now that I know it doesn’t make a difference to the battle I always save them

      @@cjahnel1021 There are Renrgade/Paragon scores for characters that are going on behind the scenes in ME1. Even Wrex can try to voice saving the council if Fem!Shep convinced Kaiden to go Full Xenophobe in their romance.

  • @violetvalentine5040
    @violetvalentine5040 Před 6 lety +73

    I really like the replacements for the salarian and turian councillors. They are much more reasonable towards Shepard despite having far less reason to do so and Esheel also thinks the previous councillor was an idiot. Irissa is a lot more unpleasant to deal with then Tevos, but I like her bluntless and refusal to sugercoat her opinions or difficult questions, the way Tevos does.
    replacement turian councillor? I'd romance the fuck out of him, he's like my backup Garrus

    • @KCfusion_
      @KCfusion_ Před 6 lety +7

      I know right? @VioletValentine Esheel straight up knows how much of a clueless idiot Valern was and that he was toxic leadership for the Salarian people. And Sparatus was just the worst turian representing the Council, he was very much like alot Turians if you look at their history they still they should be high above all the other races because of the war and honor background and he very much probably still holds resentment at humans because humanity was the one who started the First Contact War. But I like the new Turian council he was a VERY REASONABLE replacement he has an open-mind even in the dire circumstances of ME3 despite differences he was willing to take Shepard’s proof with right scrutiny and wanted to help. Tevos though doesn’t seem that much a change from Irissa though it could come from her hierarchy and why she seems so cold but way better in a reasonable leadership position she has to be that way

If I play the whole Mass Effect trilogy again - and let's be real I will sooner or later - I'll sure as hell make the old idiotic council die and get this new smarter one! • @cjahnel1021
      @cjahnel1021 Před 4 lety +8

      Not much of a difference really in terms of war assets. You get the destiny ascension by saving the council but also you lose an alliance asset since their ships were destroyed. The new turian councilor is less of a douche though, but there is no real difference I have noticed
