The mount used was made by vivo and the model number is mount-e-fd55
all in all easy mount to work with and is definitely not badly priced i hope this runs you through on the process of installing and reviewing how this mount works. I did run into a few issues with the wall mount but after fallowing the reset procedure it worked just fine. THis wall mount should work perfect for ceiling mounting allthe brands of tv's like samsungs tv's and there qled tv's, lg oleds panasonic sony hisense sharp you name it comes with lots of screws and spacers

Of all the installation videos about this mount on youtube, yours is the only one that actually mentions taking measurements and how to measure for clearance on both the back and the top. My install went flawless after watching this video. Thanks.

Great video, Thank you for posting. Couple of questions....I am doing the same install. Any issue with installing outside? Manufacturer indicates it's only for indoor install. I live CO so it's pretty dry and I'm not too concerned, 2nd?...Where did you get the power and cable box shown in your video? Thanks!!!

I have a 43” and there’s no holes for the 4 extra wings. Will this be stable enough?

Does this mount keep the tv level when stowed? I have not seen any photos or videos of it completely stowed.

By the time the TV is in the desired position , the show we were watching will be over

I'm thinking of installing this, but not to the ceiling. Thinking of having it fold down so when not in use, I can use the projector instead of the TV. Do you have any ideas how to mount it securely downwards without screwing it to an entertainment unit? I would do that if my unit wasn't glass

@ghostlyrich Did you have to brace it to studs in the ceiling???

Would need to be a cable system almost because of how it would have to lift the tv

Sorry. I was distracted by the neighbor’s garage view straight into the hot tub 😆
Just put up some tree shrubs in pots all round the hot tub. And possibly some trellis
