I must express my utmost satisfaction with the metal square solar-powered G-Shock watch. It is an exceptional timepiece that has proven its resilience in the demanding environment of building construction. While it may come at a higher cost, it is an investment that promises longevity and reliability. Additionally, I was thoroughly impressed by your informative video showcasing the features and capabilities of the metal square solar-powered G-Shock.
This sounds like ChatGPT spitting out some generic marketing talk. If this watch turns out to be a good investment I'll do as Werner Herzog and eat a certain item of clothing. 😁
I picked up the black and gold pre-owned for a great deal. It’s so durable it looks brand new to me. You can clearly tell the difference between it and other gshocks. I especially like the cobarium bezel, it has a different texture and you can see it in the light which “separates” it from the case. If anyone is wondering the finish smudges but it’s not as bad as people seem to make it out to be. I was worried it would be too shiny for me but it’s really not, especially the black. It a damn good watch and fits in with my other high end pieces.
That really threw me off. I was like are you serious? Why wouldn't you want a luxury watch with a discount? Can you imagine someone walking into an AD "I want that watch and don't bother with any discounts, I want to pay the full retail asking price, Thank you."
To me he’s suggesting that you don’t want to buy a luxury watch for a big discount because that implicates you’re already at a disadvantage with your investment. I don’t think that applies to this watch or brand, but it does to say Rolex, AP, Patek, Etc. Imagine if you could get a Rolex sports watch brand new for a discount lol, it wouldn’t be the same.
@@kevinchandler46 that doesn’t really make sense. Why would anyone feel disadvantaged with their purchase if it came with a discount? At the end of the day you’re still ahead because you have a genuine product say a Rolex for example from an actual AD
I really like G Shocks, and i have a few myself, one of which is the blue Titanium camo. At $1700, I thought that was a lot for a GShock, but $4K?? Those better be some serious exotic materials for real.
I own the original camo square and the silver MRG. The MRG aint going to give you proportionately more for double the price but it is still nice from an enthusiasts view.
How did that happen? A little over a year ago I have bought the black/gold version. Wore it almost every single day since and I have only two litle hairline scratches on the bracelet. Nothing on the clasp. Case is still immaculate. I hit it against the door of my car; bezel is fine but the paint of the car was chipped.
@@TFOtwr I have no idea, I have walloped the bezel and the sides into doors, metal walls and all sorts and immediately inspected afterwards and not a single mark . Then one day I noticed scuffing on the bracelet (like small hairline scratches), the DLC is intact but you can see the scuffing in the right lighting.
Why buy it then? It's not like those two features you mention are subjective. They're literally not functions of the watch.. sounds like you made a silly choice.
I have the silver MR-G Square and love it. More G-Shock content please!
Coming up soon for sure.
How did you size it?
@@nailfarmer22 I didn't trust myself to do it (this is the priciest watch I own) I took it to a jeweler and he did it for $7.
I have the black one, and i just ordered the silver one. Praying it will not stain as easy as the black one at work!
@@nailfarmer22 I took it to a local place here in FL, they did it for $7.

I would argue the G Shock Square is one of the top 5 watch designs ever.
My G Shock GW-5000U is my favourite watch, but 4k is crazy.

Same, I bought the MRG-B5000B-1DR 🇬🇧... Sits next to my Rolex GMT Master 2 "Rootbeer" and Omega Speedmaster Moonphase sedna gold
The dark colors slim it down visually 👍

The sqaure I really wanted, but all the others got in the way... Which all add up to more than this now ... D'oh.. 😅
It's just a matter of time at this point before I have an MR-G square. Gorgeous watches thanks for sharing Rob!
This really is the best looking G-Shock I have ever seen. Shame about the bluetooth, though. Long live multiband 6!
It has multiband 6.
I have got a full metal square with MB6 and Bluetooth. If I want to see the battery percentage, I have to use Bluetooth
They're available on the G-Shock site rn as well.
I’m not sure about the price point.
Me neither...did he say 4000$???

thanks Rob
As an emerging gshock fanboy,
it is a matter of fact I'm going to get this. Inevitable
😂 you and I both!
I have the gmwb5000 pc, the black one with blue/green gradiant color on the dial and it almost looks like this one.
Would be nice if it had on the fly micro adjust. Is the calibre more accurate than other g shocks?
The same accuracy but the circuit parts are 24k gold plated for longevity.
More accurate than updating against the atomic clock daily? How would that even be a thing lol

When I see "over priced" Casios and Seikos I'm all in. But they tell me I'm crazy.
4000? I think I will just stay with my 39€ WS-1400H-1AV.
They don't make a Bling-Shock with a MIP display, which kinda sucks
Very nice watch. But it doesn’t look good on the wrist.
Because it’s digital or metal or…?
Opinions. I bought mine a year ago. Positive display one and I love it. People don’t know what it is and that is part of the attraction.
No G Shocks look good but they are about function.
@@folksurvival Silly statement...
I have the G-Lone vid Rob. I’ll send it to you in messenger.

If there was an option without Bluetooth, I would already have it in my collection.
You don’t have to use Bluetooth, it’s just added extra. It has multiband 6. Don’t need Casio app.

I know I can ignore it but I’d rather not have it in the first place. Just my preference
You can turn it off as well but then it won't receive multiband 6 either @carlsjuniorbigburger
