Gosh...that first "never left you" is just about the most gorgeous thing I've ever heard. Pitch, placement, tone, vowel shape...just stunning.

This is very nice and Elaine looks fabulous! However, she sings this the best, and looks the best she has ever looked in her 40 Years on Stage Celebration in 2009. Check it out! You can see all 8 parts of her performance on CZcams. You should see and hear her sing Memory, As If We Never Said Good-bye and With One Look, in that performance. Truly captivating!

Wonderful performance as always from Ms. Paige. Thanks for posting this clip. I don't suppose you have any more from this concert? I believe she sang some Piaf songs as well - I'd love to see those, she is a magnificent Piaf.
The original Evita and the best.
I like Donna Summers and Karen Carpenter's versions better because the lower register seems to have more power though this is nice too. Rachel Ellis mezzo soprano on youtube.
@coryizamayzing I've seen so many of this kind of post...but you guys always forget that's complete two different genres of music.

Yikes. I love Elaine Page's voice. However compared to my favourite rendition this version seems far too over-worked. Sorry Elaine; she is (almost) certainly a less talented singer, and (almost certainly) a less talented actor, but Madge's version is my personal favourite. Clearly, you will be devastated to hear this, so I've organised a dedicated Samaritian's hotline, just in case. Calls from a mobile may cost more.
She a good singer but Madonna did it so much better!
